Corkage-free steak set near Jukjeon Station, Daegu: Etrenne Jukjeon

Today I went to Etrenne Jukjeon Branch, a steak restaurant near Jukjeon Station in Daegu.

The steak at Etrenne was better than expected, the service was as attentive as a hotel restaurant, and since it's corkage free, next time I plan to bring a bottle of red wine that goes well with steak and revisit this good-atmosphere Western restaurant.

How to walk to Etrenne Jukjeon Branch from Jukjeon Station, and where to park

Etrenne Jukjeon Branch is a 2-minute walk from Exit 2 of Jukjeon Station. The Jukjeon Station (Exit 2) bus stop is also just a 1-minute walk away, with buses 320, Dalseo 5, and Seongseo 2 stopping there.

If you're driving, search '대우월드마크웨스트엔드상가주차장입구' on Naver Map, park in the commercial building lot, then head to the connecting bridge on the 2nd floor of the parking lot and go down the stairs — you'll find Etrenne right there.

After parking, come out toward the bridge for buildings 101–103, go down the stairs, and Etrenne is right next to Lee Chunbong Chicken!

In front of the shop I got to see the owner's impressive résumé too, haha. Manager at Outback Steakhouse's very first branch, opened the Haeundae branch, owner of the Nampo and Changwon branches, and regional director for Daegu & Busan — a veteran career, and now this is where they opened Etrenne. My expectations went up just from the entrance 😆

Inside Etrenne Jukjeon Branch: atmosphere and how many seats

We visited for lunch right at the weekday 11:30 a.m. opening. Inside, the tasteful color combination and clean lighting layout made the place feel cozy and stylish, and even though the space wasn't large, the tables were spaced far apart, making it comfortable to eat.

With only 3 tables for 4 and 2 tables for 2, it's a small restaurant — but that meant we got restaurant-grade service, with staff checking in on whether each guest was comfortable or needed anything! 😁

I also spotted an event notice running in a corner of the restaurant — Pasta Day happens on the 10th and 20th of every month, where you can get Etrenne's high-quality pasta for just ₩10,000, which sounded like a great deal!

On top of that, joining the receipt review event gets you Bundaberg instead of a plain soda like cola or sprite, which made the event even more tempting, haha.

Etrenne Jukjeon Branch menu and prices

Prices ranged across the menu: Signature Set ₩77,000, Tenderloin Steak Set ₩70,000, Sirloin Steak Set ₩69,000, Risotto Set ₩43,000, Mammoth Garlic Steak ₩49,000, Cream Tenderloin Steak ₩52,000, Half-and-Half Lasagna ₩22,000, Shrimp Aglio Olio ₩14,000, House Wine ₩6,000, and a 2-person Lunch Set for ₩33,000. There were also Party Sets for 3–4 people and Family Sets for 2–3 people, making it great for a family meal or a group gathering with friends.

What comes with the ₩69,000 sirloin steak set?

We ordered the sirloin steak set, which came with pre-meal bread, salad, a choice of ribeye or mammoth steak, aglio olio pasta, cola, and a choice of sangria or Bundaberg. We chose the mammoth garlic steak and Bundaberg.

The salad had a refreshing taste, with various cheese toppings placed neatly over fresh vegetables, making it more enjoyable to eat than a plain salad 😁

The pre-meal bread was two slices of garlic baguette — can you see the shine on it, haha? The garlic baguette was sweet and crisp, and it was the perfect appetite starter!

How the mammoth garlic steak tastes

The mammoth garlic steak came out sizzling on an iron plate, so it stayed warm until the very end. The garlic flakes were piled on like an actual mountain, and the fries served as garnish came in a really generous portion!

Even though it was a sirloin steak, it was tender like tenderloin and cut smoothly with the knife. They asked how I wanted it cooked, and it came out perfectly medium-rare, the classic choice!

The tender sirloin steak had a nicely seared surface full of juices, with no gamey smell — the natural flavor of the meat really came through.

Piling the crispy garlic flakes generously onto the tender steak added the savory richness of garlic while giving even more varied texture ✨️

Shrimp aglio e olio at Etrenne Jukjeon Branch

The aglio olio came with tongs for serving, making it easy to share into our individual plates.

With clams and plump shrimp on top, plus a generous portion of noodles, it felt like great value, and the pasta noodles soaked in garlic and olive oil had a wonderful savory flavor 💛

The tails on the cocktail shrimp had already been removed, making them easy to eat, and the slight spiciness of the peperoncino combined with the savory garlic made it addictively good — I kept going back for more.

For drinks, we chose zero-sugar cola and Bundaberg. The pretty-colored Bundaberg, which you can also get through the review event, was a great pairing with Western food, and a nice option to drink instead of wine 😁

There were also wet wipes and toothpicks at the counter!

Final verdict on Etrenne Jukjeon Branch

Confirmed steak spot near Jukjeon Station!! Next time I want to come back in the evening to try the signature lasagna and cream tenderloin steak I haven't had yet — and since it's corkage free, I'd love to bring a nice bottle of wine and have a drink. A great date restaurant with a good atmosphere 😁
