Today I want to introduce Omi Omi's handmade dumpling hot pot, which I recently visited with my husband and child. If you're looking for good food near Cheonan's Independence Hall, this place is worth a visit.
Parking and dining room at Omi Omi Sono Bell Main Branch
Omi Omi Handmade Dumpling Hot Pot & Kudzu Naengmyeon Sono Bell Main Branch is located on Dongpyeong 3-gil in Bukmyeon, Dongnam-gu, Cheonan, and the dedicated parking lot was really spacious. Parking was super easy.

The interior was neatly arranged with 4-person tables, and many of them are pushed together, so it looked great for group visits too. Plenty of parking for families haha. The staff also greeted us kindly when we walked in, which was nice.

Omi Omi menu and how the unlimited noodle refills work
On the Omi Omi menu, the most popular orders are the handmade dumpling hot pot and the tripe dumpling hot pot, and since it's also known for its kudzu naengmyeon, cold noodles are on the menu too, along with mandu-guk, tteok-mandu-guk, and tteokguk. There's also a handmade jumbo dumpling that's truly jumbo, just like the name says haha.

If you order the hot pot, you get unlimited refills of ramyeon and sujebi noodles, plus a water naengmyeon dessert. That said, since the refills are unlimited, you need to order one hot pot per person. We went with the handmade dumpling hot pot.
Handmade dumpling hot pot for two and the receipt review dumplings
Our two servings of handmade dumpling hot pot arrived haha. Before the hot pot itself came out, we first got these really huge handmade dumplings, and I was genuinely shocked by how big they looked. The side dishes that came along were also clean and neatly arranged, don't you think? haha

By the way, this is something you get for free by participating in the Naver receipt review event — you can receive a dumpling or a drink as a service item. So if you order something other than the dumpling hot pot, like naengmyeon, but still want to try the dumplings, make sure to participate in the receipt review event and try one. They're really delicious haha.

While we were busy eating the dumplings, the hot pot arrived! It was loaded with vegetables, glass noodles, and meat, and it looked so delicious.
They told us to cook the hot pot ingredients first and eat the dumplings last. The staff stirred it well for us like this.

Once it was cooked, we scooped out a big serving of vegetables and meat and dug in, and since it was also packed with the glass noodles I love, I kept eating haha.

Dipping the meat and napa cabbage into the sesame sauce that was provided was really delicious too, and we refilled the vegetables and meat and stuffed our mouths full. It had a healthy yet tasty flavor that kept drawing my chopsticks back haha.

What's inside Omi Omi's handmade dumplings: bracken and mushrooms
Saving the dumplings for last, the filling was seriously amazing. This was the first time I'd seen dumplings with bracken fern and mushrooms inside, and even eating just the dumplings alone was filling and satisfying.

Self-serve sujebi, ramyeon refills and extra broth
After finishing our meal, we went to the self-serve bar to grab noodles to add to the broth. The third station is for sujebi. There's also a separate ramyeon noodle station on the right.

We were already so full that we figured we couldn't finish ramyeon noodles too, so we just grabbed the sujebi. We cut it into nice bite-sized pieces and tossed it in haha. If the broth reduces and tastes too salty, you can add more broth, or just add plain water if it's really salty.

Mini cold naengmyeon dessert and candy at the register
Seeing that we were nearly done eating, the staff asked if we wanted naengmyeon, and we said yes — you really should eat this even if you're full haha. Because it's a mini size, it's light enough to enjoy even when you're stuffed, and since Omi Omi is known for its kudzu naengmyeon, the cold noodles are genuinely delicious. It would be a shame to skip it haha.

And when you pay and head out, take a look at the counter — there's candy set out for a refreshing finish. We each picked one and ate it on the way home, feeling refreshed haha. The staff were kind, and the dumpling hot pot, the dumplings, and the mini naengmyeon dessert were all so delicious that we left feeling completely full and satisfied.
