Grab whatever else you need from the self-serve bar — pickled radish, young radish kimchi, garlic, chili peppers, and more. Some items aren't on the table, so make sure to use the self-serve bar!

Tasting the set piece by piece

Fried shrimp, one part of the octopus set. The plump king shrimp, freshly fried and crispy, pairs really well with the sweet chili sauce.

A set that everyone from kids to grown-ups will love: stir-fried octopus + stone pot rice + 2 fried shrimp per person.

The rice from the freshly cooked, still-warm stone pot gets scooped out into a bowl, while the tasty scorched rice waits a bit~~~~

As expected of a proper Cheonan octopus restaurant, the quality is great! Piling all sorts of vegetables and octopus onto the rice makes for a huge portion — but in a good way.

How spicy is medium, really?

We picked medium to enjoy it properly, and it was just a bit more deliciously spicy than Shin Ramyun — a spice level anyone can handle comfortably, haha. The combo of smoky, springy octopus rice bowl with crispy fried shrimp is absolutely the best!

Finish it all off with a bite of scorched rice for the perfect ending to the meal :)
