Songpa burger restaurant for double cheeseburgers: Daily Fix

In short

Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga is a handmade beef burger restaurant in Songpa, Seoul. I tried a double cheeseburger, bacon cheeseburger, and chili cheese fries for 15,900 won, 12,900 won, and 9,900 won. Verdict: a good alternative to the usual chains for a patty-forward meal in Jamsil.

When I am looking for a good burger near Jamsil Station, accessibility is the first thing I check. Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga sits between Jamsil Station and Jamsillaru Station, so it was easy to reach by public transit. Head down to the basement of Jangmi Sangga Building B and, among the older storefronts, you will find a place with a completely different atmosphere. It would also work nicely as a meal stop after Lotte World or Seokchon Lake. If you are driving, you can use the Jangmi Sangga parking lot, which makes visiting by car fairly convenient too.

A New York diner feel inside an old shopping arcade

Inside, it has a diner atmosphere built around warm wood tones, lighting, and small decorative touches. It feels different from a newly built mall, while still retaining the retro character of Jangmi Sangga. I think the combination of the old shopping arcade and the American-style concept is why this burger spot near Jamsil Station is especially memorable.

There are long communal tables, regular tables, and bar-style seats. The layout did not feel intimidating whether you are dining alone or visiting as a pair. With the open kitchen in view, the space did not feel closed in, and the mix of wood and black tones photographs nicely too.

Each table is set with utensils, and you can order through the table QR code. If QR ordering is difficult, you can order directly with a staff member. In the evening, imported draft beer and bourbon whiskey are available as well. There are burger-friendly choices including IPA, dark beer, and Budweiser.

Korean beef patty burgers and pastrami sandwiches

Korean beef patty burgers and side menu information

🍽 Menu The menu includes burgers made with 100% Korean beef patties, sandwiches, and sides such as fries and onion rings. The standout on this Jamsil burger menu is the Korean beef patty, prepared fresh every day. They also use bacon and pastrami that are cured and smoked in-house.

Signature menu prices are ₩15,900 for the pastrami sandwich and ₩12,900 for the bacon cheeseburger. Switching to a pretzel bun costs an additional ₩900. An order of 18 mm fries with cola is ₩5,900, and onion rings are listed at ₩7,400. The pastrami sandwich comes on a ciabatta bun as standard.

The pastrami sandwich is reportedly limited to 15 servings a day, so it would be better to visit a little earlier if that is what you are after. Beyond the handmade Korean beef burgers, the side selection is fairly varied, so for two people, burgers, fries, and onion rings would be easy to share. Soft drinks are said to be refillable, so it may be worth checking with the restaurant before ordering.

Events to check before visiting

🎁 Events There is an event that gives one coleslaw or corn salad per table when you write a receipt review. An onion ring giveaway is also advertised for Naver Reservation visits. These events may end early depending on restaurant circumstances.

When choosing a burger near Jamsil Station, the patty is ultimately what matters most. A defining feature of Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga is that it uses 100% Korean beef.

Burger with a 100% Korean beef patty
Cheeseburger with a thick patty

These burgers are all about thick patties and a rich beef flavor, while the house-bacon options add a smoky note. I really love cheeseburgers, and because the beef patty here was so good, I had a truly delicious cheeseburger for the first time in ages~🤭

Cheeseburger highlighting rich beef patty flavor

With its patty, cheese, and bacon combination, the bacon cheeseburger seemed like a relatively easy choice for a first visit.

Thick-cut fries and onion ring sides

The fries are the thick 18 mm style, while the onion rings let you enjoy the sweetness of onion along with a crisp texture. If a burger alone feels a little lacking, adding one side would be a nice move.

Personally, when I am looking for a meal in Jamsil that is a little different from the usual chains, I liked that I could enjoy both a handmade Korean beef burger and a diner atmosphere here. It is also not a difficult route to take when heading for a meal after spending time around Lotte World, Lotte World Tower, or Seokchon Lake. In the evening, you can switch things up with a burger and draft beer pairing too.

This should suit people looking for a burger near Jamsil Station who value patty flavor, or who want to combine a Jamsil date with a meal. The menu has enough variety that it would be good to return for other burgers and the pastrami too. If you plan to take advantage of an event, check the reservation benefits and whether it is running.
