Even places where you had a great meal the first time can sometimes feel a little less special on the second visit, you know? But I kept thinking about the burger I had here last time, so I ended up coming back. This is Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga (데일리픽스 장미상가)! I was so happy with my previous visit that a return trip felt natural, and this time I ordered the bacon cheeseburger and classic burger. To give you the conclusion first: it was delicious again, and it has now become a burger spot near Olympic Park that I can confidently recommend~!

Choosing a restaurant around Jamsil can be tricky because of parking, so I liked that it was also easy to visit by car.
A retro American diner beneath Jangmi Sangga

I came back after quite a while, and Jangmi Sangga's distinctive retro atmosphere was still charming.

It is tucked into the basement of an older shopping arcade, but Daily Fix has a clean, stylish American-diner feel inside, which makes it feel quite different from outside. Rather than being flashy and hectic, it was a space where you could sit comfortably and enjoy a burger. It could also be a nice stop when you want handmade burgers in a slightly different setting after a date in Jamsil or at Olympic Park.
100% Korean beef patties and menu tips

The patties are, of course, the main reason I especially liked Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga. They say it is a handmade burger restaurant that makes its patties fresh every morning with 100% Korean beef and pays attention to every ingredient, including house-made bacon and special sauce. The juiciness and meaty texture of the patty impressed me so much on my first visit that I came back with high expectations. The staff were kind, too, so I had another pleasant meal on my second visit.

A little tip: if you want to fully enjoy that savory, nutty bacon flavor, go for the bacon cheeseburger.

If you prefer a classic burger with fresh vegetables, I recommend the classic burger. Ordering one each for two people and sharing is even better, since you can compare their different charms.
What does the bacon cheeseburger set taste like?

This time I ordered the bacon cheeseburger, and from the first bite I understood why this combination is such a classic. With cheese and bacon piled onto a thick Korean beef patty, it looked substantial and appetizing from the start.

Each bite of the patty released moist juices, followed by bacon's distinctive salty, nutty flavor. The bacon was not overly tough or the kind that only makes its presence known; it blended naturally with the patty, so the overall balance was great.

What I especially love about Daily Fix's patty is that it is not ground too finely—the meat has just enough texture left for a really satisfying bite~!! Very good.. Add a subtle chargrilled aroma and the nuttiness of cheese, and I think anyone who likes a rich handmade burger will be very satisfied. The price is a little higher than an ordinary franchise burger, but considering the Korean beef patty and bacon, it felt completely reasonable.
Classic burger set with extra Swiss cheese
The classic burger was delicious when I had it last time, so I ordered it again with extra Swiss cheese. While the bacon cheeseburger focuses on the rich flavors of meat, cheese, and bacon, the classic burger feels a little fresher with lettuce and onion added.

Crunchy vegetables, a juicy Korean beef patty, and nutty Swiss cheese came together in one bite, and the balance was really good. The special sauce was not overpowering either, so it did not hide the patty's flavor and instead seemed to naturally bring all the ingredients together. I also liked that the ingredients were fresh, making it clean and not greasy all the way through.

And the French fries that come with the set were still incredibly generous. Can you see that portion? Wow...! One burger is filling on its own, but with all those fries, it is a very filling meal for two.
A Korean beef handmade burger that satisfied on a second visit

I went back because my first visit was so delicious, and if the second visit is satisfying too, I think it is fair to call this a place that truly suits my taste. Of the items I ate this time, the bacon cheeseburger stood out most. The juicy Korean beef patty, salty bacon, and nutty cheese made for an even richer, fuller flavor. If you want something a little fresher, I would still recommend the classic burger with extra Swiss cheese.

It is a little pricier than a typical burger, but the flavor of the 100% Korean beef handmade patty, the quality of the ingredients, and the generous set made it well worth another visit. If I am near Jamsil or Olympic Park again, my willingness to return is 2000%! If you are looking for a properly made handmade burger near Olympic Park, I confidently recommend Daily Fix Jangmi Sangga~!
