Curry lunch as a couple after school drop-off

After dropping the kids off, the two of us went for a rare relaxed lunch together. No hesitation on today's menu — curry! We both love curry so much, so we headed to Manokamana's Triple Street location. We also needed to stop by Daiso, so off to Triple Street we went hahaha.

Actually this was already our third visit to Manokamana Triple Street! It's on a great route for shopping in Songdo and grabbing curry afterward, so we end up here fairly often.

What a spice-loving couple ordered 🍛

We both lean toward spicy food, so today too we went with the spicy option all the way hahaha.

• Mutton masala
• Basmati rice (Indian rice)
• Naan
• Butter naan

Rice is great with curry, but naan is a must too hahaha. So we made sure to order both a plain naan and a butter naan.

While we waited for our food after ordering, we looked around the restaurant, and the moment you walk in it's just full-on India vibes hahaha.

With the Indian décor and Indian music playing, it briefly felt like a little trip to India 🤣 The place is fairly spacious with a second floor too! Tables range from two-person spots to seating for larger groups, so it looked great not just for family meals but for group gatherings or company dinners too. There were even high chairs, so I thought it'd be nice to come back with the kids next time 😁

Curry + naan combo is still the best 🤤

We were chatting away while we waited, and the food came out almost all at once! As someone who's impatient by nature, having it all arrive together was very much appreciated 🙈

Pile the curry generously over the basmati rice, scoop it up with naan… so, so good hahaha.

How spicy is it, exactly?

Since we both like spicy food, we picked the spicy level for everything we ordered today, and it hit the spot perfectly. To me it felt like somewhere between Shin Ramyun and Teumsae Ramyun in heat?! If you're not great with spicy food, I'd recommend adjusting the spice level or choosing a milder dish when you order. The curry paired really well with the basmati rice, and dipping the naan into the curry was so good that the two of us cleaned our plates in just 30 minutes hahaha.

Would we go back?

Another really satisfying meal today! 😋 I did want to try the tandoori chicken too 🤣... I'll have to come back and try it with the kids next time! After a thorough stop at Daiso, off we went to pick the kids up. If you want to shop in Songdo and get a delicious curry meal, Manokamana at Triple Street is a solid choice 🍛
