Coming out of Dukseom Station Exit 7, less than a 5-minute walk brings you to an ivory-colored building — both the 2nd and 3rd floors are [ Toni&Guy Seongsu ]

The salon is closed every Monday, and depending on the designer you can be seated on either the 2nd or 3rd floor — I had booked designer Taeri in advance, so I went up to the 2nd floor

The waiting area and the storage space were both spotless ✨ Since I went on a weekend, the place was pretty busy

There was a separate space where you could sit comfortably to get your hair done, and the Ayunche products used at [ Toni&Guy Seongsu ] were displayed for easy viewing -`♡´-

Today I finally visited — after a whole year! — to tame my frizzy hair with a "volume magic straightening" and a "mid-length layered cut." Designer Taeri specializes in bob perms and low-damage glossy straightening, but it turns out she's a total expert at mid-length layered cuts too! Before the treatment, we discussed what style would suit me, and the result ended up looking just like the photos I showed her — I was really satisfied 💯

My hair is severely half-wavy, and after getting a straightening treatment last year it had gotten pretty messy 😏 My husband kept asking when I was going to escape the caveman hairstyle ••• Today, with designer Taeri, let's see the transformation 🪄

Starting with shampoo and clinic treatment

First up was a refreshing shampoo 🧴 Taeri gave me a satisfyingly thorough shampoo and massage 🥹🫧 From protein shampoo to a clinic treatment for my dry, damaged hair, she was really meticulous

The drink and cookies offered during the treatment were a nice touch too

She cut my frizzy hair and did the neutralizing process. After neutralizing, she carefully straightened my hair with a flat iron. She went through it strand by strand, even the tricky spots, straightening both sides so thoroughly that it felt so satisfying ,,🍃🌬️

When I've had volume magic straightening before, it often didn't straighten properly and got wavy again from damage — that was my biggest worry, but Taeri put those worries to rest and gave my hair a fresh, damage-free start
