The season was changing, and my hair had grown out so heavily that it was starting to feel stuffy—so, for a little mood refresh! I visited Salon de Supullim, a hair salon near Seodaemun Station, for a fresh new look :-) My hair is quite thick and gets unruly quickly, so heavy hairstyles had been a real concern. I went for a medium-length hush cut with an appealing light texture, plus a multi perm (straightening + setting perm). In the end, it feels so much lighter, and even the time it takes to wash and dry my hair has gone way down, so I’m very happy > <
Salon de Supullim location and parking

Salon de Supullim is on the third floor of the building with Yeopgi Tteokbokki. Since there was no parking information, it seems there isn’t a dedicated lot! If you’re driving, use a nearby public parking lot 'ㅅ'

The salon interior is neat and cozy. Browsing magazines is a great way to pass the time while waiting!

Medium-length hush cut and multi perm process

Ha-eun was my designer that day, and her bright, kind service put me in a great mood! She had such a professional, capable presence too, haha. Before getting into the treatment, she consulted me very carefully about the style I had in mind. Rather than simply taking down what I said, she actively searched through various reference photos with me and accurately picked up on the light, fresh hush-cut texture I wanted... I was touched...!

This was taken after a little of the back had already been cut, but here’s the before, haha. An old perm was still left in my hair, so it was looking messy.
First, she shaped the overall layered lines, then used a setting perm on the lower section to create natural C-curls.

She began the first detailed cut to establish the overall structure. I loved it even when it was only cut +_+

Next came a softening solution to reduce hair damage, followed by shampooing to rinse out the product. Her hands were so delicate and gentle while massaging my scalp during the shampoo and handling my hair while applying the solution that I accidentally dozed off for a moment, lol.

She carefully did the heat-perm setting to give the curls their bouncy shape, then finished with neutralizer, a final shampoo, and a second detailed cut to perfect the style. I feel this every time I get a perm, but it always makes me think of Beethoven, lol.

She styled it with a curling iron and completed the final cut—my medium-length hush perm/hush cut was done!

Thank you, Ha-eun, for creating such a pretty style _ _)* I’ll use the treatment well!
Styling my lighter medium-length hush cut
My formerly unruly, heavy hair is now styled so lightly and chicly, and it makes me so happy > < It falls softly, so even just sweeping it back with my hand looks very natural and bouncy! What I love most is that drying and styling it has become several times easier. When my hair was long, drying it took forever, but now I won’t have to struggle anymore ㅠㅠbb

Ha-eun kindly explained, in an easy-to-understand way, how to rough-dry it comfortably at home and how to maintain the curls. Thanks to her, even someone clumsy with styling like me can create a pretty look easily every morning!
