I came here after visiting the Mandali brunch café near Manhwari and falling for both its food and atmosphere. There is parking in front of the café, and if it is full, they also provide parking support at Ilgwang Public Parking Lot.

There was a notice saying that, when the lot is full, you can ask the staff before leaving with your meal receipt.

Mandali To Go Ilgwang Branch is a two-story house-style café. The first floor sells groceries, baked goods, and flowers, with a cute, lovely interior that brings to mind a small European street scene. Upstairs, the tables and seats create a relaxed, cozy space. There are group seats, too, so it looked great for larger parties.

Ordering panini, pasta, and a seasonal cake

Mandali To Go Ilgwang Branch is actually known for its delicious brunch. Every menu item has been a hit whenever I have visited, so deciding what to order is always difficult, haha.

We ordered a basil garlic-butter bulgogi panini, citrus white ragù pasta, kabocha curry soup with a house baguette, plus one ciabatta to eat at home and the summer seasonal Lamington cake. For drinks to go with everything, we had an iced Americano and a matcha latte, haha.

The café was so pretty that I took a few photos, and then the brunch dishes began arriving one by one. The panini served with salad, and the citrus white ragù pasta that is so good I seem to order it every time I come... haha.

Then there was the kabocha curry soup with house baguette, whose flavor is especially wonderful when you dip the bread in it. This was another dish I had loved before, and once again it did not disappoint. One reason I like Mandali To Go is that the menu changes a little with the seasons, so there is always something new and tasty to enjoy each day you visit.

Summer seasonal Lamington cake

Mandali To Go's seasonal Lamington cake. Mango, passion fruit glaze, and coconut fragrance spread between rich butter cake layers—wow, this is totally my style. There was only one left, and I thought, what is this! Just looking at it, I knew it could not possibly be bad, so I brought it home. As expected, another dish that did not disappoint, haha. It is delicious enough to finish in one sitting.

Every menu item is delicious, and Mandali To Go's distinctive European feel and comfortable atmosphere leave nothing to be desired. When I think of a Gijang brunch café that satisfies with both food and space, Mandali To Go is what comes to mind in the end. I recommend it to anyone looking for brunch in Gijang, Ilgwang.
