How to find Bueokgan inside the outlet

Bueokgan is at the very end of North 1F at Shinsegae Busan Premium Outlets 🤍 Head toward the building with the SYSTEM and WINE stores opposite Daiso; it was only about a two-minute walk from the outlet entrance, so we found it faster than expected! We were hungry after shopping with my mom, but the location wasn’t difficult at all, so we went right in 🙌🏻
The entrance waiting sofa and spacious dining room

The first thing I noticed as soon as we opened the door was the huge sofa by the entrance 👀🤍 It looked so big and nice that it caught my eye, and I heard it’s used as a waiting area when the restaurant is full. Maybe because we went on a weekday, we got a table right away with no wait 🍀 Once inside, the restaurant was much bigger than I expected 🫢

Everything was clean and had such a pleasant atmosphere that it put me in a good mood, even though I was just there for lunch with my mom ✨ There were lots of different table setups, so it looked good for a casual meal for two, a family visit, or a larger group. If you’re looking for somewhere at the Busan Shinsegae outlet for a date or family meal, Bueokgan seems like a nice pick for the atmosphere too!

Choosing pasta and risotto

Looking at the menu, there were so many things I wanted, including pasta, risotto, pizza, and steak 🤤 I loved having so many choices!! After my mom and I debated for a while, we each ordered one dish 🤍 Mom chose the shrimp rosé pasta 🦐 and I chose the abalone cream risotto 🐚 Then we both properly ordered grapefruit ade too 🍊
Plump, bouncy shrimp rosé pasta

We started with the shrimp rosé pasta… wow, the shrimp were seriously so plump and bouncy 🦐 They were among the meatiest shrimp I’ve had in pasta 👍🏻 There was no fishiness at all, and the shrimp themselves were mild and springy, so delicious. This really is a great Italian restaurant in Gijang 💛 The rosé sauce was smooth and tasty too, but it wasn’t overly thick or rich, so I kept reaching for it! My mom tried a bite and said, “It’s not heavy—it’s delicious!” while tucking in, haha. It really is a Gijang Italian-food spot, right?
Cream risotto with pleasantly chewy abalone

The abalone cream risotto I ordered was beyond expectations too 🤍 There was more abalone than I thought, and I loved its pleasantly chewy texture in every bite. It was cream risotto, but as I ate it, it somehow also reminded me of jeonbokjuk (abalone porridge), you know? The nutty, smooth cream flavor with the abalone throughout made it both tasty and filling! My mom tried it and said, “It feels like we’re nourishing ourselves even though it’s Italian food,” hahaha. We ordered one dish each and felt like we were going to burst.. 🧡
Grapefruit ade with large grapefruit pieces

The grapefruit ade wasn’t just a drink either—it had two big pieces of grapefruit in it. I was so touched 💓 Shrimp for the shrimp, abalone for the abalone, even grapefruit for the grapefruit—it felt like they didn’t skimp on any of the ingredients 🙌🏻 After my mom and I properly enjoyed all that delicious food, we were recharged and ready to shop again 🤍 Being inside the outlet makes it easy to eat while shopping, and with no parking worries, it seems like a good place to stop when you’re looking for Italian food in Gijang. It’s lovely to visit with your mom like we did, and I recommend it for anyone looking for a date or family meal at the Busan Shinsegae outlet too 🤍 Having properly finished our tasty lunch, we hurried back out to shop again~ haha. If you’re looking for somewhere good to eat at the Busan Shinsegae outlet, be sure to add Bueokgan to your shopping route 🫶🏻
