Noir bean iced latte and yuzu lemon madeleine at Remangdore, Seorae

I've stopped by Remangdore Seorae Village Branch a few times now whenever I want good coffee and desserts in a nice-looking Banpo Seorae Village café. Visiting on a weekday morning, the place had just the right amount of quiet so I could relax.

Location and exterior of Remangdore Seorae Village Branch

Located on the first floor of a corner building next to Parc de Paris 15 in Seorae Village, Remangdore Seorae Village Branch is known for desserts good enough that brands like Gucci use them as gifts.

Outdoor terrace and dog-friendly seating

Vaccinated dogs are allowed inside, though their movement is restricted. There's also a small outdoor terrace beside the café that's nice for sipping coffee outside. That day I happened to spot a TV personality spending time there too.

Interior atmosphere and seating at Remangdore Seorae Village Branch

Walking into this Banpo Seorae Village café, the space felt comfortably large with plenty of big windows letting in great light. The interior is decorated nicely, giving the whole place a good atmosphere.

Several 2–4 person tables line the windows, with the coffee bar along the wall. There's no wifi in the café, and only two outlets on the innermost wall.

So rather than people working on laptops, I mostly saw people chatting over coffee with friends or reading alone.

The outdoor terrace has two tables and connects to the interior. The restroom is on the first floor of the building outside the café (you'll need a key).

Remangdore's menu board and coffee prices

Here's a photo of the menu board at this Seorae Village coffee favorite. There were plenty of coffee and drink options — Americano ₩5,500, Café Latte ₩6,300, Vanilla Latte ₩6,700, and more — plus decaf, extra shot, and oat milk swap available.

The bean descriptions are detailed enough to pick beans to your taste. Since I like a nutty flavor, I ordered an iced café latte made with noir beans.

Chocolate baguette and madeleines: what I picked

They also sell various house-made breads and baked treats that pair well with coffee — egg tarts, croissants, chocolate baguette, and more. The sweet chocolate baguette I tried last time was so soft and delicious that I ordered it again with my coffee.

Since Remangdore's madeleines are good enough quality to be used as VIP gifts for Gucci and others, I had to try those too, ordering one plain madeleine and one yuzu lemon madeleine.

Gift wrapping and MD goods

Even the standard gift packaging looks nice, but for this Chuseok holiday, they also offer a pretty wrapping-cloth option. It's ₩3,000, and given the design and quality, I'd say it's worth choosing the wrapping-cloth version.

On one side, they also sell Remangdore-branded socks, tumblers, and glass cups, along with coffee beans and drip bags.

How the iced café latte and chocolate baguette tasted

Here's what I ordered that day at this Banpo Seorae Village café: iced café latte, madeleines, and chocolate baguette. Remangdore's nutty iced café latte is always delicious no matter when I have it, and paired with the soft, just-sweet-enough chocolate baguette, the combination was excellent as always.

Remangdore in Banpo Seorae Village is a great place to spend good time with delicious coffee and desserts in a lovely space — worth a visit.
