Green tea madeleine and latte at Remangdore, a Seorae Village café
In short
Remangdore Seorae Village Branch is a French-style bakery café in Seocho, Seoul, on the corner across from Paris 15th District Park. A café latte at 6,300 won came with a green tea madeleine whose gentle green tea aroma and light bitterness matched the latte well, and Remangdore also sells a 6-piece madeleine gift box for 30,000 won. It is an easy stop for a coffee that doubles as dessert gift shopping.

There are plenty of pretty cafés in Seorae Village, but sometimes you walk in and the desserts fall a little flat, right? 👀 So at first I thought this might just be a nice-vibe bakery café. But the moment I stepped inside — croissants, madeleines, financiers — the sheer variety kind of blew me away haha. Remangdore is actually well known enough that their madeleine gift box sells on their official online store too. It's a 6-piece box, currently ₩30,000.

Where is Remangdore Seorae Village Branch, and what does it look like?
🥐 A proper French mood on the outside
Remangdore Seorae Village Branch sits on the corner across from Paris 15th District Park. Even from the outside it has a faintly French air, which fits Seorae Village really well. It's not far from Express Bus Terminal either, so it's a good spot to swing by for coffee after shopping at Shinsegae Department Store.

Inside Remangdore: the pastry display and dessert choices
Step inside and you get a warm atmosphere with the bakery items lined up in a row. Personally, what I loved most was just how many dessert options there were! If you're looking for a Seorae Village café and you love croissants, picking just one thing here won't be easy. From pistachio cream croissants to madeleines, financiers, scones — the range of baked goods was huge. Standing in front of that display case is a recipe for losing your mind a little…🥹

Café latte at 6,300 won with a madeleine
☕️ Today's order: latte + madeleine
What I ordered that day was a café latte and a madeleine. The latte was ₩6,300! When you're eating bread or baked goods, you can't resist pairing it with a latte, right ☕️ A bite of sweet dessert, a sip of latte — that's basically the taste of the weekend haha.

How did the green tea madeleine taste?
🍵 The green tea madeleine also hit the spot
I went with the green tea madeleine 💚 One bite in and the subtle green tea aroma spreads through nicely. It's not just sweet — the slightly bitter edge of the green tea adds character, and it paired really well with the latte. With the madeleine's signature soft texture plus that green tea flavor, you naturally want another sip of coffee ☕️ If you're into matcha or green tea desserts normally, this one's worth trying. You could also pick one of each flavor and put together your own gift set 🎁 What I especially liked about Remangdore was having several different madeleine flavors — not just one — so if you like madeleines, there's real fun in just browsing.

Is the 30,000 won 6-piece madeleine gift box worth it as a gift?
🎁 Why it worked well as a gift
And what caught my eye most here was the madeleine gift package. It's not just a few pieces tossed into a plastic bag — there's an actual gift packaging option, which looked pretty solid for gift-giving. The madeleine 6pcs gift box is ₩30,000, and there's also a financier gift set. You know those moments when a housewarming or thank-you gift feels too much if it's too fancy, but you still want it to look thoughtful?

For those moments, this seemed like a good place to grab coffee and handle a gift at the same time. From the recipient's side too, it has that "you didn't just grab this in a hurry" look haha.

Croissants at Remangdore to try next time
🥐 Croissants next time!
This time I had madeleines, but next visit I want to try the croissants too. The pistachio cream croissant is ₩8,800, and there's also a limited-edition Dubai croissant on sale, so if you love croissants, check it out. If you're looking for a Seorae Village café near Express Bus Terminal, or want to browse a wide range of bakery and baked goods beyond just coffee, Remangdore is worth remembering :) What I personally loved most was the variety of madeleine flavors and the gift packaging option. A place where you can go for coffee and walk out with a dessert gift sorted too ✨
