I visited BAS Burger Seonyudo, a great handmade burger spot near Seonyudo Station. I stopped by for a weekday lunch last Tuesday and ordered a Hawaiian Burger, milkshake, and chicken wings~ I’ll honestly share everything from the sweet pineapple and juicy patty to the cinnamon milkshake and sauce that was spicier than expected.
BAS Burger Seonyudo atmosphere and ordering

BAS Burger Seonyudo is just one minute from Exit 4 of Seonyudo Station, so it was easy to find. The restaurant is not large and has around seven tables. I visited on a weekday afternoon, and the dining room was fairly relaxed, though delivery orders kept coming in.
Each table has a kiosk, where you order and pay directly, so it felt comfortable even for dining alone. The overall vibe is like a casual pub, and there were people having beer and burgers even during the day. It suits not only lunch but also a casual handmade burger and beer, or fries and beer.
What is on the menu at BAS Burger?
BAS Burger sells a range of handmade burgers, sides, and beer. The burger selection includes the basic BAS Burger, Hawaiian Burger, Tam-yok Burger, Mushroom Burger, and more. For sides, you can choose French fries, onion rings, mozzarella chicken, or mozzarella cheese bars. Besides soda, there is beer and shakes too, so it is easy to pair your burger with whatever you like.

Complimentary James Gam potato chips
And you cannot leave out James Gam at BAS Burger!! These are complimentary potato chips you can have in the restaurant, and their thin, crisp style is amazingly good~ There is mayonnaise, ketchup, and pepper too, so they are nice for a quick bite before the handmade burger arrives.

But! After going back for them twice, I guess it was not exactly just a quick bite, haha. I ordered the Hawaiian Burger set, chicken wings, coleslaw, and shishito pepper red mayo dip. I paid extra to switch the set drink to a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake. The total was ₩27,500, but I... do not remember the extra charge for the milkshake.
Hawaiian Burger set with sweet pineapple

My favorite item at BAS Burger is the sweet Hawaiian Burger. It comes with a beef patty, cheddar cheese, house sauce, butterhead lettuce, low-sodium bacon, and two slices of pineapple. I really love Hawaiian burgers, so I chose it again without hesitation~

With the first bite, you taste the sweet pineapple, followed by the patty’s juices bursting out~~~! The sweetness and savory meatiness come through together, so of course the Hawaiian Burger is right up my alley. You absolutely have to try the Hawaiian Burger at BAS Burger, a great Seonyudo spot.

I liked that BAS Burger’s buns are soft. The fillings matter too, but the bun is what completes a burger. You can change the bun to lettuce only, but I do not eat it that way. Burgers should be eaten with bread, after all. I switched the soda in the set to a Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake.
Cinnamon Toast Crunch Milkshake and fries pairing

This milkshake has a cinnamon aroma, so it feels a little different from an ordinary shake. It was sweet without being overly rich. You all know about dipping fries into a milkshake, right? Sweet and salty, and so delicious.
Chicken wings and red mayo dip that was hot for this spice wimp

The chicken wings come with only the wing section that I like. They are not seasoned too salty either, so they taste good even on their own without a burger. Chicken wings with a beer at BAS Burger would be nice too.

The shishito pepper red mayo dip I ordered for dipping the French fries... honestly, as someone weak with spicy food, I should not have ordered itㅠ It was much hotter than I expected, enough to make my eyes water, so next time I am going to try the sriracha mayo.

Still, because the heat is strong, it has the advantage of cutting through the richness when you dip chicken wings or French fries in it. It is difficult to keep eating a lot of it, but it is a decent sauce when you dip into it now and then. Coleslaw is the best after eating spicy sauce. It is crisp and fresh, so it feels healthy~

Coleslaw is essential with burgers and fries
Coleslaw is always essential when I eat burgers. Take a bite of crisp coleslaw while eating BAS Burger’s handmade burger and fries, and it cuts through the richness nicely, so give it a try. If you want a delicious handmade burger, visit BAS Burger, a great Seonyudo spot.
