Hi everyone! Today I visited Low & Sweet Bakery, a Haeundae café known throughout Haeri-dan-gil for its distinctly exotic, polished vibe. I'm a regular on café tours through this neighborhood, but this place hit my taste exactly right, from the atmosphere down to the rich lattes and golden-baked pastries — I really wanted to share it. How to find Low & Sweet Bakery on Haeri-dan-gil, and where to park

Tucked into an alley off Haeri-dan-gil, Low & Sweet is about a 5-minute walk from Exit 4 of Haeundae Station, so it's really easy to get to. It's a perfect stop while wandering the alleys and browsing Haeri-dan-gil's prop shops and other things to do. ☺️ For parking, the Haeundae Station public parking lot is the way to go — worth noting if you're planning a visit.

What is the atmosphere like inside Low & Sweet Bakery?

Walk through the door and you're hit with that warm, minimal feeling of being at an overseas café. Calm-toned wood interiors, stylish posters, and little props scattered around the space come together so well that you could get a great shot from basically any angle. The outdoor terrace seats are also perfect for catching some breeze and taking it slow.

The tables are spaced out generously, so it's easy to chat without feeling cramped, and the sunlit window seats and outdoor terrace are perfect for soaking in Haeri-dan-gil's relaxed atmosphere. It's not loud, just hip and comfortable — great whether you're solo with a coffee or on a date :)

Canelé, financier, scone: the dessert lineup at Low & Sweet Bakery

Low & Sweet is well known for its coffee, but I couldn't take my eyes off the bakery lineup either — every single piece looked delicious. From financiers baked golden-brown fresh in-house every day, to canelé crisp on the outside and chewy inside, to nutty cookies and scones, the pastries were all neatly displayed and looked like perfect coffee companions.

How did the iced americano and the three desserts taste?

Low & Sweet's americano strikes a nice balance — the acidity and nuttiness are neither too much, and it cleans up the palate really well. It paired perfectly with the sweet, chewy bakery desserts. Overall, everything I ordered had that crisp-outside, moist-inside texture and great flavor. The canelé had a lively texture, with a pudding-like, moist and chewy inside — really delicious — and the egg tart was wonderfully crisp too.

In this exotic, polished space I got to enjoy a cool, clean iced americano alongside well-executed bakery desserts 💛

The canelé was textbook crisp-outside-moist-inside, the egg tart was soft, and the lemon madeleine burst with tang — thoroughly satisfying all around.
