Haeri-dan-gil café, two coffees and three desserts to go: Low & Sweet
In short
Low & Sweet Bakery is a white-façade roastery bakery café tucked into the Haeri-dan-gil alleys of Haeundae, Busan. Dropping by after lunch on a weekday, the writer took away a vanilla bean latte at 6,800 won, an iced americano at 5,500 won and three desserts — an egg tart, a lemon madeleine and a chocolate financier. Seats at Low & Sweet Bakery were nearly full, but plenty of baked goods were still on the shelf and the packaging was tidy enough to pass on as a gift.

How to find Low & Sweet Bakery and where to park
Hi everyone! Today I went to "Low & Sweet Bakery," a Haeundae bakery. It's a dessert café known for salt bread and egg tarts that opens in the morning.
Low & Sweet Bakery is about a 5-minute walk from Haeundae Station Exit 4, tucked into the Haeri-dan-gil alley. Parking is available in dedicated spots #41 and #42, and if those are full, there's a paid public lot nearby.

The white exterior and terrace of this Haeri-dan-gil roastery café
Low & Sweet is famous as a roastery café on Haeri-dan-gil in Busan — apparently both their bakery and café locations operate within this same alley.
Deep in the Haeri-dan-gil alley, the café's stylish white exterior really stands out. There are tables set up both in front and behind the café for casual seating, which is part of why it's so popular.

What Low & Sweet Bakery looks like inside
The interior feels like something out of a café in Europe — very moody and detailed. Wood-and-white décor extends the space deep into the back of the café.
Cozy and warm, it's also great for solo café time. Between the atmosphere and the excellent dessert-and-drink lineup, Low & Sweet is popular with locals and tourists alike.

When the bread comes out and how pickup reservations work
This bakery is known for cookies and baked goods made fresh every morning at 6am. If there's a specific item you want, you can reserve it for pickup.
They also sell coffee beans separately, which seems to make them popular with coffee lovers too. If you sign up for Naver alerts, you get a coupon for a plain financier — worth checking out before you visit.

True to its reputation as a top Haeundae bakery, there's a wide dessert lineup — canelé, financiers, croissants, and more. Baking times vary by item, so if you want things freshly baked and crisp, it's worth timing your visit. They open at 8am daily and seem to do additional baking through 1:30pm. The whole store was filled with the smell of freshly baked goods.

Drinks menu at Low & Sweet Bakery, and the decaf option
Known as a bakery spot but also popular for its coffee, Low & Sweet Bakery offers a wide range of drinks — espresso, tea, drip coffee, and non-coffee options.
These drinks are designed to go well with the baked goods. Switching to decaf adds ₩500, worth keeping in mind when ordering.

A full house at weekday lunch: ordering takeout instead
- Vanilla bean latte ₩6,800
- Americano ₩5,500
- Lemon madeleine ₩3,400
- Egg tart ₩3,800
- Chocolate financier ₩3,400
This bakery gets so busy that seats are nearly full even on weekdays. I visited around lunchtime on a weekday and was lucky that plenty of desserts were still left, so I got to pick a good variety.
Since I'd already eaten, I ordered both the baked goods and drinks to go. The desserts were packaged neatly, which would make them great for gifting too.

Vanilla bean latte, 6,800 won
I was debating what to order, and since everyone around me seemed to be drinking it, I went with the vanilla bean latte. Clean, light, and smooth — need I say more, it's delicious. Even the cup itself matched the café's aesthetic perfectly.

Iced americano, 5,500 won
The iced americano paired perfectly with the desserts. Clean acidity and good flavor made it easy to drink after a meal. It might be the best basic americano I've had on Haeri-dan-gil — it went so well with every dessert that it disappeared fast.

Three desserts to go: egg tart, lemon madeleine, chocolate financier
I picked up a trio of desserts that would pair well with any drink. Since this place is famous as a Haeundae bakery, I packed them up right away. I went for a good mix for a sugar fix — a crisp-outside-soft-inside egg tart, and soft, sweet madeleine and financier. The taste and quality felt premium for the price — a dessert lineup that's hard not to love.

The signature egg tart seemed to blend both Hong Kong-style and Portuguese-style qualities. The flaky pastry combined with soft custard made it clear why it's so famous.
The lemon madeleine, with its refreshing tang, was also addictively textured. They use fresh lemon zest and juice grated daily, which seemed to make it extra vibrant.
Last, after much deliberation, I ordered the chocolate financier. Rich chocolate and a soft financier texture that melts the moment you bite in — a very appealing dessert. I think anyone who loves chocolate would fall for this one.
Is Low & Sweet Bakery worth it if you're café-hopping in Haeundae?
With a terrace that feels like something out of Europe, this first visit to the bakery café was a total success. With its wood tones and lush greenery, it's also a great Haeundae date spot for photos. If you're looking for a great Haeundae café, or curious about Haeri-dan-gil, I highly recommend "Low & Sweet Bakery."
