I stopped by bd Burger Seongsu, a burger spot near Seongsu Station loaded with charred whole shrimp and avocado. It's a light bite for a Seongsu date and fun for trying something a bit different in burger form.
Where is bd Burger Seongsu, and is there parking?
bd Burger Seongsu is about a 7-minute walk from Seongsu Station Exit 3. Walking from the station toward Yeonmujang-gil, you'll find bd Burger on the 2nd floor.
No parking available (nearby public parking lots recommended). Driving to Seongsu isn't really an option...

Inside bd Burger Seongsu and how the self-bar works
bd Burger Seongsu is located on the 2nd floor of the building.
Overall it has a casual yet hip vibe that fits right in with the distinct Seongsu atmosphere!
Inside, the seating is mostly 2-seat and 4-seat tables, and tables can be pushed together for larger groups.
There's a self-bar on one side of the store where you can grab your own utensils, napkins, and other supplies.
Next to it is a drink dispenser and water. Drinks come with one free refill.
bd Burger menu and what we ordered
bd Burger's signature menu items are the bd WASABI SHRIMP and bd GRILLED SHRIMP AVOCADO. The wasabi shrimp visual reminds me of Zesty Saloon in Seoul Forest haha.
Sides include french fries, eggplant fritters, and mushroom fritters.

Whole shrimp in the bd GRILLED SHRIMP AVOCADO burger
The grilled shrimp avocado finally arrived! Plump whole shrimp sit right in there. With avocado and vegetables together, the whole thing looks colorful and appetizing!
Taking a bite, the shrimp was bouncy with a great texture, and a subtle char flavor came through — a clear difference from a regular shrimp burger!
The avocado added a soft, nutty richness, and the tomato and lettuce kept the whole thing from feeling greasy — a great combination!
And the spicy sauce here is the real kick!
How were the fries in the bd Burger set?
Of course I had to eat the fries that came with the set too haha. I love fries so much that sometimes I'll eat just fries without the burger!
Hot and salty fries — how could they not be good? >_<
The burger itself felt fresh and light, but with the fries and drink added in, I filled up quickly. I felt like this is a good menu to pick on a day you want a light, fresh burger with shrimp and avocado instead of a heavy beef burger.
