Blue pearl lunchbox cake No. 3 at Jamsil cake shop Circus Rabbit

I had a birthday cake made in Jamsil for a friend haha. When I used to work around Jamsil, I'd go to Jangmi Arcade for lunch a lot — and turns out the cake shop was there too!

How to find Circus Rabbit in Jamsil

Circus Rabbit in Jamsil is in unit B2-10, basement level 1, of Jangmi Jonghap B Arcade. They say if you come down the stairs at Exit 8, it's right there.

There are so many restaurants and cafés in the basement of Jangmi Arcade that it can be hard to find your way, so here's the floor plan / map for reference haha.

Found Circus Rabbit tucked in a corner of the basement level haha. They make all kinds of lettering cakes — flower cakes, lunchbox cakes, bottle cakes, you name it.

How ordering and unmanned pickup work at Circus Rabbit

Circus Rabbit, this well-loved lettering cake shop in Jamsil, Songpa, takes reservations through both Naver Reservation and KakaoTalk!

From 4pm onward, it switches to unmanned pickup, so you can swing by whenever works for you — like after getting off work — and grab your cake yourself. Really convenient haha.

For unmanned pickup at Circus Rabbit, you just leave your name and the last digits of your phone number, then send a KakaoTalk message confirming pickup once you've got it!

Circus Rabbit has a ton of lettering cake design samples — they send them over on KakaoTalk channel too, or you can browse on Naver Place! Prices are listed openly by design, so I didn't have to go through the hassle of asking about each one haha.

Here are the cake designs that were on display when I visited! These are the lunchbox cakes — people usually get lettering cakes for birthdays or anniversaries haha.

There were so many designs and colors that I really struggled to pick one — they're all so pretty,,✨

Besides lunchbox cakes, there are regular whole cakes too! The colors on these are gorgeous as well haha.

Bottle cakes for 6,500 won

They also had bottle cakes — mini cakes sized just right for a dessert,

The bottle cake is ₩6,500 and comes in Shine Muscat or Oreo flavor.

Birthday candles: types and prices

No birthday or anniversary cake is complete without cute candles hahaha.

There were bear candles, rabbit candles, heart candles, and lots of cute event candles too haha. Candles run about ₩1,000–2,000!

Since unmanned pickup is available after 4pm, you can pick up your cake after work — so handy~

Just keep the cake refrigerated! There's no support pin included, so make sure to carry it flat.

Lovely Lunchbox Cake design No. 3, the one I chose

The design I picked was Lovely Lunchbox Cake No. 3, a sea-themed lettering cake with a blue gradient and pearl toppings haha.

You can buy a cold pack separately at pickup, so add one depending on how long your trip home will be.

Circus Rabbit's lettering cakes allow up to 12 characters of chocolate pen lettering, and for the lunchbox cake I could choose from milk, raspberry, Oreo, Oreo choco chip (extra charge), or seasonal fruit (extra charge) flavors haha.

Apparently the shop was started by someone who worked as head pastry chef at Mont Chouchou in the Apgujeong Hyundai Department Store, so no wonder the cakes taste this good••🎂
