Korean BBQ near Dasan Station with fire noodle naengmyeon: Eungbongjip
In short
Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch is a retro-style frozen pork belly (naengsam) restaurant in Dasan-dong, Namyangju. Eungbongjip grills flash-frozen Korean pork with kimchi and minari (water dropwort), and the meal added two things rarely found at a grill house — fire noodle naengmyeon (spicy cold noodles) and a pudding-like steamed egg — alongside the restaurant's "Catch Terra in 7 seconds" event. The clean-tasting frozen pork belly and the fiery cold noodles turned out even better than expected.

Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch

If you're looking for a frozen samgyeopsal spot with serious retro vibes in Dasan-dong, this is it 🥩✨ Every time I walked past and saw the crowd through the big windows, I got curious — and I finally made it to Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch!
What Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch looks like: deep green tiles and an open kitchen
Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch is a BBQ restaurant on Dasanjungang-ro 123beon-gil with a deep green tile exterior and big glass windows. The facade stands out even from a distance, so it's easy to find.

The deep green tile walls paired with soft yellow lighting make it stand out from far away 💡 Through the big windows you can see the whole interior, and true to its reputation, it was already buzzing with customers — you could just feel the good-restaurant energy 😋

Stepping inside, the first thing that caught my eye was the open kitchen, accented with green tile to match the exterior 💚

The tables weren't cramped, and the chairs have space underneath to stash your belongings or coat! Baby chairs were well stocked too, so it looked like a great spot for a family meal out with kids 👶🏻
Eungbongjip uses only quality domestic 1+ grade Korean pork, flash-frozen at -40°C on the day of butchering to minimize changes to the meat's texture, and they say they even make their own radish salad cured with Himalayan pink salt 🤩
Eungbongjip menu: frozen pork belly and specialty cut sets
The menu at Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch centers on frozen samgyeopsal, alongside Korean pork sets and specialty cut sets. There's also a wide range of stew and side dish combos.

From frozen samgyeopsal to Korean pork sets, deolmisal, seolhasal, ppol hangjeongsal, and other specialty cut sets, plus a full lineup of stews and side combos — the menu is packed!
Eungbongjip's side dishes and pudding-like steamed egg
The basic table setting at Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch arrives all at once on a large wooden tray with side dishes and sauces. The steamed egg was so good I ordered a second round.

Centered around the steamed egg, the tray is loaded with egg yolk sauce, wasabi, curry powder, salt, salted hairtail-gut jeotgal, ssamjang, and pickled gungchae!

This pudding-like steamed egg in particular was so smooth and delicious that we ordered another round 💛

✔️ There's also a Naver receipt review event running
How the flash-frozen pork belly tastes with kimchi and minari
The frozen samgyeopsal at Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch had zero off-odor and was wonderfully savory. Grilling kimchi and minari together on the pan and wrapping them together was especially good.

Finally, the frozen samgyeopsal went on the grill along with kimchi and minari, cooked to perfection! 🔥

Frozen samgyeopsal can sometimes have an off-smell if it's not done right, but Eungbongjip's had zero off-odor and the meat was incredibly savory and tender...!!! 🥓✨
Wrapping up kimchi grilled in the meat fat together with minari and taking a big bite... it just keeps going in, endlessly...!!! Looking at these photos makes me want to eat it again 😋
Fire noodle naengmyeon to finish, plus the Terra 7-second event
Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch has fire noodle naengmyeon (cold noodles) instead of just the usual water or spicy versions. Loaded with fire noodle sauce in an icy broth, it was a great palate-changer alongside the meat.

If you come to Eungbongjip, you absolutely must order this fire noodle naengmyeon after your meat! 🍜🔥
Most BBQ restaurants only have plain water naengmyeon or spicy bibim naengmyeon, but here they oddly had a "fire noodle naengmyeon"! I was curious so I ordered it, and it was the right call... the cool, icy broth base was generously loaded with fiery fire noodle sauce 🌶️, and eating a bite of meat followed by a spoonful of this noodle was the best combo!! Genuinely a special dish 🥹😭
During the meal, they were also running a "Catch Terra in 7 seconds!" event, so we hurried to join in! ⏱️🍺 First place got an Asahi draft beer glass, but I sadly landed on 6-point-something seconds and won... wet wipes, hahaha 🎁
Is Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch worth a visit?
From the retro atmosphere to the odorless, savory flash-frozen samgyeopsal, all the way to the fiery fire noodle naengmyeon finale! Every combination was more satisfying than I expected at Eungbongjip Dasan Station Branch 🥩✨ If you're looking for a great samgyeopsal or frozen pork belly spot in Dasan, I highly recommend it ☺️👍🏻
