Seongsu Korean BBQ open until midnight on a Sunday: Marblejeong
In short
Marblejeong is a 1++ Korean beef grill restaurant on the 2nd floor at 57 Seongsu-il-ro in Seongsu, Seongdong, Seoul, open daily from 11:00 to 24:00. On a late Sunday visit, Marblejeong served a 400g 1++ mixed grill (sirloin, rib finger, brisket) grilled by staff from start to finish, followed by doenjang sulbap (soybean paste rice with rice wine), a Häagen-Dazs freezer for dessert and a bathroom stocked with cotton swabs, mouthwash and pads. For a clean Korean beef restaurant in Seongsu that stays open late, Marblejeong is the answer.

I was in Seongsu again and suddenly craving beef, so I searched around and ended up eating Korean beef haha. Seongsu has tons of good restaurants and cafés, but finding a genuinely solid beef spot is oddly hard — the good-looking ones are too expensive, and the reasonably priced ones aren't quite it, ugh.
But this time the place I went to nailed price, taste, and service all at once — total satisfaction ♡ I went to the Seongsu branch of Marblejeong, and the space is huge, so honestly I wish office workers around Seongsu and Ttukseom Stations would just have their team dinners here ^^..
Where is Marblejeong, and what are its hours and parking?

Marblejeong is on the 2nd floor, so you just head straight up the stairs.

Right at the entrance you see wine on display — these days a lot of places do beef and wine pairings, so I love that they've got such a good wine selection ♡

A Seongsu Korean beef restaurant that takes you late on a Sunday
True to its Seongsu location, the interior doesn't feel like a typical beef restaurant at all — it's hip and stylish.
I came in at an awkwardly late hour on a Sunday, and when I first walked in there were only two tables occupied, but since this place runs until midnight, customers kept trickling in one by one even by the time I finished and left. Not many Korean beef places stay open that late, so that seems like its biggest selling point!
Right after ordering, the side dishes were set out immediately — clean and refined, matching the sophisticated vibe of the place perfectly. There were plenty of side dishes and sauces that go well with beef, so you could mix and match to your taste without getting bored of it.

What comes in the 400g 1++ mixed grill: sirloin, rib finger, brisket
The main dish came out quickly too — I ordered the 400g 1++ Korean beef mixed grill. It came with sirloin, rib finger, and brisket! The meat looked amazing the second it arrived, I was drooling already haha.

The first thing put on the grill was the sirloin, and the condition was seriously great — oh, and another great thing about Marblejeong is that the staff grill everything for you the whole time!!! No matter how good the meat is, it's useless if it's grilled poorly, but with staff dedicated to grilling right beside you, you get to enjoy good meat at its absolute best ♡

It was grilling so deliciously, right around the point where I started thinking I wanted to eat it immediately—

—they put a piece up with mushrooms, and it was pure bliss. So, so good. Even the mushrooms were amazing, ugh. My companion was on a diet at the time and said this flavor beats the diet.
The rest of the sirloin was also grilled perfectly, and we finished it off in no time.
Next up, rib finger! But this is the only photo I have of it — I was too busy scarfing down the rest of the sirloin before it got cold to take pictures. The rib finger was tender and honestly so delicious, ugh.

And my companion's number one pick, brisket. It wasn't chewy at all and was genuinely amazing. Eating it with the fresh kimchi at the end made me feel like I could order another whole plate, ugh.

Finishing with doenjang sulbap and Häagen-Dazs at Marblejeong
For the meal course, we had doenjang sulbap (soybean paste rice porridge with rice wine)! Since beef is naturally rich, I wanted something spicy, and this was totally spicy enough to wash away all the greasiness. I scraped the bowl clean, finished every last bit of rice, done and dusted haha.

And another special thing unique to Marblejeong is that they have a Häagen-Dazs freezer ♡ Perfect for dessert right after the meal.

Even the bathroom is stocked: Marblejeong for dates and family dinners
Another thing that genuinely impressed me was checking out what's stocked in the bathroom — cotton swabs, mouthwash, pads, all there, so good. Perfect for a date spot ^.^ There's even a diaper-changing station, so it'd be great for a family dinner too haha.
If you've been looking for a clean Korean beef restaurant in Seongsu, definitely give Marblejeong a try haha. The location is also great for heading to Seoul Forest or elsewhere in Seongsu for round two afterward, so it works well as a full dinner course ♥
