Yongsan LP bar with song requests and non-alcoholic drinks: Mixed

Today I went somewhere with really good vibes near Samgakji!

Honestly I don't go to Samgakji that often — it's more like a second-round spot when I've already walked a bit from Yongsan. Today too, we ate dakbal (spicy grilled chicken feet) in Yongsan first, then headed here for round two, yum—

Today's food adventure was an LP bar with serious mood. This isn't just a regular bar — it's a place where you can have a drink while listening to LP music. I don't personally go to places like this often, but I love the concept, so I was excited even before I got there.

The vibe was amazing the moment I walked in, ㅠ maybe because it's in the basement — it feels cozier and more like a hideout once you're inside than it looks from outside.

That cat-or-dog drawing was so cute, and the wine bottle decor underneath was nice too. (Random aside but) it reminded me of my own kitty...

And true to being an LP bar, there are LPs everywhere and music playing — but it doesn't feel like a few records placed around just for decoration. It really felt like a space meant for listening to music, which I loved. LP vibes — 💿💿💿 (never used an actual LP back in school lol)

With the wood-toned space and soft lighting, photos come out looking great too!

I generally prefer dim, quiet, low-key places over bright flashy bars, so this suited me perfectly. Just noticed there are LPs sitting on top of the lights too!

Can you drink alone at Mixed? The seating setup

The seating options were more varied than I expected. There's a bar table, seats good for two, and tables for bigger groups, so it seemed fine solo, on a date, or with friends. Having a drink alone while listening to LPs sounds pretty romantic too...

Music at Mixed: pop, classical, old favorites and song requests

• I can't not talk about the music here
• Mostly pop songs, with some instrumental classical too, and old-school tracks with a vibe kind of like Kim Hyun-sik's 'Nae Sarang Naegyeote' (I'm not 100% sure that was the actual song lol)
• The songs were so good — I was chatting with my friend so I couldn't focus on the music much, but whenever there was a lull in conversation I'd naturally start listening. So roman-tic—
• And apparently you can request songs too, so if you have a favorite, go ahead and request it!
• The music wasn't quiet, but it never got in the way of conversation. Still, personally I think this is less of a spot for catching up loudly with friends and more a place for talking slowly on a date, or over drinks with a friend you haven't seen in a while! (kind of obvious, maybe?)

Mixed menu and prices: non-alcoholic drinks 17,000 won, cheese platter 23,000 won

• There's a huge, huge, huge selection of drinks — cocktails, whiskey, wine, beer — plus food that pairs well with drinks
• Since I'm cutting back on alcohol lately, my friend and I got the non-alcoholic basil lemonade (₩17,000) and basil tomato tonic (₩17,000). Both were absolutely delicious ㅜ Basil and tomato is a combo I really, really love. It's not really a food-focused spot, but the drinks were tasty anyway
• Prices aren't cheap, but there's an LP-bar music premium built in~~ (music is my life!) so it feels fair

• Since we'd already eaten so much dakbal at round one, our stomachs weren't ready for much, so we got the lighter(?) fruit cheese platter (₩23,000), and it was genuinely delicious!! No greasiness from the cheese at all, just refreshing!!!! There was basil pesto too, which made it even better!!!

• The complimentary popcorn was tasty too

• The staff were friendly, and overall the vibe made it easy to just relax and stay a while.
• What I like most is that LP bars can sometimes feel so quiet and solemn(?) that you don't know how to act — but here there's none of that pressure. You just walk in, listen to music, drink, and talk, no stress.
• The restroom is inside too, up the stairs through a door. It's pretty clean, which matters if that's something you care about (honestly a dirty restroom really bums me out ㅠ!). Even the restroom design has that same mood lol

How to find Mixed: Samgakji Station Exit 3 on Yongridan-gil

• It's right near Samgakji Station Exit 3, so access is really convenient! Easy to find!
• Good location for after round one on Yongridan-gil when you're already full — just a short walk (under 2 minutes, honestly 😅😅)!
• Samgakji itself has so many good restaurants and bars these days, so it could also be nice to eat dinner, wander around slowly, and pick a spot based on vibe!

Is Mixed worth a visit? Final verdict

When I look up LP bars lately, some look pretty in photos but when you actually visit, the interior is the main focus rather than the music.

This place actually plays real LPs and takes song requests, so I think music lovers would have even more fun here!

Good vibes, good taste, good location — what more could you want? haha I especially recommend this to couples who want a different kind of date 💿🍸🍹😊

Didn't drink alcohol so I'm counting this as a diet win
