Sindang izakaya with spicy seafood ramyeon and sashimi: Nuridam
In short
Nuridam is an izakaya in Jung-gu, Seoul, one minute on foot from Exit 1 of Sindang Station. On a Friday after work, the writer and a friend ordered the aged sashimi platter for 46,000 won and the spicy seafood ramyeon for 9,000 won with soju and cheongha, and found the fish thickly cut and the ramyeon close to a smoky jjamppong. For a drinking night where raw fish and a hot soup dish come one after the other at the same table, Nuridam is an easy choice.

Nuridam is an izakaya near Sindang Station, a Sindang bar known for aged sashimi and beef tartare alongside a wide range of dishes like nabe, pasta, and fried food.

My best friend and I stopped by Nuridam near Sindang Station on our way home from work on a Friday, for dinner plus a little drink. Nuridam is a Sindang izakaya that serves aged sashimi and beef tartare along with pasta, nabe, fried dishes, and more. I heard the signature dish is the aged sashimi and beef platter, which combines aged sashimi with Korean beef tartare — so that's exactly what I ordered! Here's my review of Friday evening at Sindang's Nuridam!
One minute from Sindang Station Exit 1: what Nuridam feels like
Nuridam sits in an easy-to-reach spot from Sindang Station, so it's worth checking out alongside other Sindang Station restaurant or Sindang Station bar picks. The vibe felt like a classic izakaya through and through. It's worth checking the location of nearby paid parking ahead of time.

The seat I sat at had that outdoor-tent-bar feel too.

Sitting at the table and just poking your head out, and it really feels like an outdoor tent bar.

The menu is built around aged sashimi and beef tartare, with pasta, nabe, fried dishes, and ramyeon rounding it out, so it's great for friends with different tastes to order a few things and share. I also love that after finishing the sashimi, you can add pasta, fried food, or a soup dish without switching seats — you get to start fresh with a new round of food right where you're sitting.
What comes on Nuridam's 46,000-won aged sashimi platter
The main dish we ordered this time was the aged sashimi and beef platter for ₩46,000. Nuridam's version comes as one big plate loaded with fresh sashimi and Korean beef tartare together.

Since I'm a fan of eating things raw, a combo of raw fish and raw beef is basically the ultimate honey pairing platter.

First, the basic side dishes came out — rusk, and an adorable Del Monte bottle full of barley tea. I love it when a bar serves barley tea ❤️

Since we'd ordered sashimi, they brought soy sauce, chojang (vinegar chili sauce), and sesame oil ahead of time. Note it's a shared portion, not individual. Gim (seaweed) came one sheet per person — Wando gim, apparently, haha. And finally, the main dish arrived!

The beautiful sight of aged sashimi and beef tartare together~ So pretty. Raw food needs alcohol, of course, so we ordered one bottle each of soju and cheongha.

Flounder, salmon and swordfish: how the sashimi tasted
The sashimi lineup was flounder, flounder belly, salmon, red sea bream, and swordfish.

Piling on a good chunk of wasabi and dipping it in soy sauce is the best way to eat it!

Thick-cut flounder sashimi — even loading it up with wasabi, your nose is totally fine. Not spicy at all.

The salmon is great with soy sauce too.

For the beef tartare, just dip it in the special sauce that comes with it.

I ate the swordfish with sesame oil, wasabi, and gim together! With fatty fish like this, popping a bite of pickled ginger right after keeps it from getting overwhelming.

The sashimi was cut exactly the thickness I love — thick, with a great chew.
The closer: spicy seafood ramyeon, 9,000 won
After sashimi, you've got to move on to soup. Personally, I prefer ramyeon over spicy fish stew any day.

Nuridam happened to have a ramyeon on the menu, so we ordered the spicy seafood ramyeon. It's a single serving, and it tastes spicy like jjamppong (spicy seafood noodle soup). Packed with squid, so it also carries a squid jjamppong flavor.
The smoky, fire-kissed flavor really comes through... it's ramyeon only in the sense that the noodles are ramyeon noodles — is this actually jjamppong? That's the kind of flavor! It also completely cuts through any fishy aftertaste, making it a fantastic closing dish.
Looking for a place to eat and drink near Sindang Station?
Rather than just serving aged sashimi, Nuridam is a Sindang Station izakaya with a full lineup — aged sashimi and beef tartare, plus pasta, nabe, fried dishes, and ramyeon. That makes it an easy menu to navigate when your group wants different things, or when you want to share several dishes alongside the sashimi.
It's also great for going with a friend who doesn't like walking, since it's a one-minute walk from Sindang Station Exit 1 (Line 2). And the seat I sat at had that outdoor-tent-bar feel, which made it even better. If you're looking for an outdoor-tent-style spot or an aged sashimi place near Sindang Station, it's worth a visit.
