You know that pork belly cooldown timer that hits everyone, right? Weather's getting cooler and my throat's getting scratchy — gotta send some pork belly down there. So I went looking for a good samgyeopsal (grilled pork belly) spot in Sinjung-dong and finally checked out Cham Dwaejitgan, a place I'd walked past a million times. Here's the review, let's go.

120 seats — a Korean BBQ place like this in Sinjung-dong?
The place is honestly huge. They say it's got 120 seats. There's really not a lot of Korean BBQ spots this size in Sinjung-dong — this might be the only one!

How to pick a company dinner BBQ spot: staff grilling + corkage-free
What's the top criterion for a company dinner meat restaurant? The thing you have to check first — How the meat tastes? The restaurant's vibe? Nope. Whether they grill it for you. You might think 'the youngest employees will figure it out' but that's not the point — food grilled by staff just tastes better. The junior folks usually can't grill well (speaking from experience).
And on top of that, corkage-free!! Restaurants like this are rare — I basically have no choice but to recommend this as a Bucheon BBQ company dinner spot. Big space + staff grilling + corkage-free, that's a triple combo.

I went on a Friday evening and it was already packed with people, but there were plenty of seats so we got in with no wait, haha. There's a separate self-serve bar too, so you can grab more side dishes without feeling awkward about it~!
Even the restrooms and amenities pass the company-dinner test
What else matters for a company dinner spot? Indoor restroom. Clean. Full marks. Plus separate men's/women's restrooms — really important, haha. On top of that, they've got phone charging, hair ties, plastic bags for coats, kids' tableware, floss and toothpicks, disposable mouthwash, and Febreze — a fully equipped BBQ restaurant.

Menu and drink prices
There's a wide variety of meat cuts too, so you can order to your taste. We ordered black pork belly and pork neck!

Side dishes matter so much, right? So many kinds here! The BBQ restaurant classics — doenjang stew, naengmyeon (cold noodles), even fried rice, haha. I'm a carb addict so I got the soy-egg rice.

Of course drink prices matter for a company dinner, right? If it's over ₩5,000 you can't even go there, haha. Drink prices here are quite reasonable~ They even have Gangsoe and Hwayo. lol
Sauces, side dishes, and mushroom wasabi

There are several sauces to go with the meat too, which is so nice. That mushroom wasabi was really good — first time trying it.

The soy-egg rice and soju came out first. The soy-egg rice looked ridiculously good, haha, ah I'm hungry. I ordered Chum Churum and they threw in a milk thistle shot too, nice touch, haha.

Black pork belly, pork neck, and domestic minari
The pork neck and pork belly we ordered arrived. The meat quality was so good. The staff set up kimchi, bean sprouts, and minari (water celery) on the grill for us. For reference, they say they only use domestically grown minari — no wonder it was so fragrant and crunchy.

Meat grilled by a pro is just the best... the thickness, the speed... once you get used to a BBQ place that grills for you, there's this weird magic where you can't eat meat you grilled yourself anymore. And get this — while grilling, no oil splattered at all. It was so strange I checked the store's info and apparently they use a handmade grill plate that doesn't splatter oil. A meat restaurant this fully loaded — I'm definitely coming back.
Gotta eat this properly, haha haha. The lettuce wraps were super fresh too, haha.

We were a little short so we ordered one more portion of pork neck, haha. When we added the order, they wiped down the whole grill plate with fat first? Service, full marks!! But seriously, the meat quality here is so good. Can you tell even from the photos? T_T

Ate really well and had a great time. Next time we do a company dinner at work, I'm putting this place on the approval request. If you're also looking for a good samgyeopsal spot in Bucheon Sinjung-dong, especially for a company dinner, I highly recommend it, haha.
