I loved the lush, green, wood-toned feel! You can get delicious Chinese dishes here like the house jjajangmyeon and beef pork belly jjamppong. Traditional Chinese cooking techniques meet Bueokgan's stylish sensibility and care, making it a proper upscale Chinese restaurant.
What Chinese dishes are on the Bueokgan menu?
The menu also includes mala cilantro jjamppong, nakji jungwha (octopus over Chinese-style rice), mapo tofu rice bowl, shrimp fried rice, eoyanggaji (fried eggplant), jalapeño cream shrimp, and whole-garlic yuringi — all delicious. The food is great, the space feels good, the owner is kind, and the interior is upscale — you can tell a lot of thought went into it, which made me like it even more!
The kkanpung monkfish, pork belly mapo tofu, menboxia, kkanpung shrimp, and pork belly with chili peppers were also great, and it's a nice spot for a drink too. It has a warm, upscale feel, and I especially loved the European furniture that gave it that high-end interior look. Shall we get to the food?

That's what we ate. The menboxia was especially delicious and crispy — it's fried after you order, so it stays crunchy, and the seasoning wasn't too strong, so I think even young kids could enjoy it.
Danmuji (pickled radish) side dish, mapo tofu, and zero-sugar cola! It's tasty enough for everyone from kids to adults, so it also works well as a family dinner spot.

This is the Chinese cucumber salad at Bueokgan Chinese Haeundae Branch. It's a Chinese-style smashed cucumber dish — cucumbers are crushed, tossed in soy sauce, vinegar, and minced garlic, and served cold! With such a wide variety of Chinese dishes, word has clearly spread, since people come from far away to visit.
The atmosphere is great and the food is delicious, so it's always busy with customers~
How was the mapo tofu rice bowl?
Zero-sugar cola and mapo tofu. The tofu in the mapo tofu was soft and delicious! With the great atmosphere and heartfelt cooking, this is a real Haeundae favorite. It's on Dalmaji-gil near the Haeundae Beach Train's Mipo and Cheongsapo stops, making it a nice weekend outing too~
Mixed into rice, the mapo tofu was so good. Since the food is this tasty, I'd also recommend it as a family gathering spot~
The jjajangmyeon at Bueokgan Chinese Haeundae Branch was delicious too — you can enjoy Chinese food in such a refined atmosphere, so I'd recommend it for gatherings as well!

Breaking the poached egg into the thick pork belly and sauce and mixing it all together was so soft and delicious!

Menboxia is a shiitake-and-shrimp version of menboxia (bread stuffed with shrimp paste), and it was healthy, plump, and crispy — delicious!
