Seonyudo kids burger restaurant, pollock roe mayo chips: BAS Burger

The weather has been cooling down lately, so I finally went for a picnic at Seonyudo Hangang Park after a long while. Now that the peak heat has passed, it's not too hot, and it feels like the perfect time to sit and read or just fully rest.

After soaking up some family time, on the way to the subway station I stopped by one of my favorite Seonyudo restaurants, right next to the station — BAS Burger Seonyudo (바스버거 선유도점). I still remember how quickly my kid demolished a burger last time we came. This visit was another happy one, so let me share it in detail!

Where is BAS Burger Seonyudo, and what are the hours?

BAS Burger Seonyudo is super accessible, sitting right by Exit 4 of Seonyudo Station. It's open daily from 11:00 AM to 9:30 PM, with last order at 9:00 PM.

Inside BAS Burger Seonyudo: sofa seats that work with a child

Walking into BAS Burger Seonyudo, you'll find tables set below a neon 'B' sign.

This is my personal favorite spot — my kid loves climbing onto the sofa seat with shoes off to sit down.

Another nice touch: the restroom and trash bin are both nearby, so we could wash our hands before and after eating, and clean up any mess along the way.

The neon sign glows softly, giving the place great mood lighting.

Self-serve potato chips dipped in pollock roe mayo

Another perk of sitting further inside — you're right next to the potato chips!

You scoop the chips yourself into a paper box — great as a starter before the main meal. You can dip them in ketchup or mayo, and they also pair well with the pollock roe mayo I'll mention later. Salty and moreish, they're a total hit with kids too.

Looking out from inside, here's the view. A big window keeps the space bright, balancing nicely with the interior lighting. There are also small two-person tables, good for a couple or for eating solo.

The sauce bar and the receipt review freebie

Head over to the counter and you'll find a whole sauce bar you can use as needed.

Everything is free to take except the kkwarigochu (green pepper) red mayo dip (₩1,000) and truffle mayo dip (₩1,500). Personally, I end up reaching for the pollock roe mayo every single time I visit. Tastes vary, so I'd recommend trying a few different ones!

Eating the Double BAS Burger set, BAS Burger combo and Teriyaki Mayo Kids Burger

I ordered the Double BAS Burger set (cheese bacon fries) (₩16,300), the BAS Burger combo (₩10,600), and the Teriyaki Mayo Kids Burger (₩6,600).

You order at the kiosk, which I liked because it lets you customize — remove ingredients, swap the bun for lettuce, choose your fries, and pick your drink.

While we were snacking on chips, the buzzer went off to say our food was ready.

Such a full, generous spread — it made me so happy to see.

Thick and packed full on the inside.

This is the cheese bar we got from the review event. Crispy on the outside, with cheese that stretches and pulls, savory and delicious. My kid especially loved it.

The double series, with two patties stacked in, is really excellent!

The cheese bacon fries were exactly my kind of thing too.

Why BAS Burger Seonyudo suits a Seonyudo Hangang Park day out

BAS Burger Seonyudo, this Seonyudo favorite, sits right by the station, making it a really convenient stop before or after a picnic at the Hangang park. The taste, the portions, the atmosphere — nothing falls short, so whenever I'm in the area, this is the first place that comes to mind.

It's nice to eat the chips right at the restaurant, but getting them to go and enjoying them while looking out at the Han River is its own kind of romantic. Now that the weather is cooling down like this, I'd really recommend visiting for a meal and some time in nature!
