There are so many pretty cafés popping up around Jeonpo these days that I had a hard time deciding where to go — I ended up at this Jeonpo café because I was craving a good cream dessert. Hippy was gorgeous from the outside, and the interior had this careful, detail-oriented feel that made me even happier I'd chosen it. There's a small annex out back too, which I think dog owners will especially love!

Hippy is on Dongseong-ro 25beon-gil in Busanjin-gu, right in the middle of the Jeonpo alleys — a great stop while you're wandering around. If you're on the hunt for a Jeonpo café, this one's worth keeping on your list.
When I'm choosing a café, coffee matters, but I also really care about whether the dessert on offer is any good. This place could honestly be recommended purely as a cream dessert spot — it's a solid combo of sweet dessert and coffee.

I ordered an iced americano (₩5,000), a Hippy latte (₩6,500), and the Dubai chocolate dessert (₩10,000).

The Hippy latte comes out frozen like slush — just stir it well before drinking — and, just like the menu description says, it tastes a lot like Deowisanyang, the Korean ice bar. Recommended if you're after a sweet, slushy latte.
The cream dessert looked so pretty it was great for photos too. The amount of kataifi and cream was well balanced, so it never got heavy — there was a nice crunch to it as well, and it paired really well with the coffee. If you're looking for a pretty dessert café in Jeonpo, or hunting for a great cream dessert or great coffee, this place is worth a visit.
