Chuncheon sushi buffet mango bingsu and buffalo sticks: QooQoo
In short
QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is a sushi and grill buffet with about 120 dishes, in the basement of the CGV building in Toegye-dong, Chuncheon. On a birthday trip the writer was first in line at the weekend opening and worked through the roll and gunkan corner, LA-style short ribs and buffalo sticks from the Texas Smoke BBQ station, steamed clams and oysters at the hot corner, then marble ice cream and mango bingsu (shaved ice dessert). With a 180-seat hall, a 52-seat group room and a playroom, QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is an easy pick for family gatherings in Chuncheon.

Let's eat well during our birthday trip to Chuncheon! With that in mind, we did a weekend opening-line run at QooQoo Chuncheon Branch.
Where is QooQoo Chuncheon Branch, and where do you park?
QooQoo Chuncheon Branch is on the basement level of the CGV building in Toegye-dong, Chuncheon. It's open from 11:30 to 21:30, and reservations and group bookings are available.

You could register for a wait and there was a waiting area ready, too. We arrived first in line for the weekend opening haha.
Parking spans B2 to B5 with room for 500 cars, and it's 3 hours free!
A 180-seat hall, a 52-seat group room and a playroom

It felt open and bright the moment we walked in — I completely forgot we were in a basement haha. With up to 180 seats, it seemed like a comfortable place to visit.
There's also a separate 52-seat group room available for weekend bookings of 10 or more, which seemed great for family gatherings or company dinners haha.
And there's a QooQoo kids' zone — a playroom! — so families with kids can eat comfortably haha.
How much does QooQoo Chuncheon Branch cost, and what is the September discount?
Weekday lunch is normally ₩24,900 and dinner ₩27,900, but there's currently an autumn ₩2,000 discount running through September!
There's also a 10% discount for birthdays and 5% for soldiers — perfect for a birthday family gathering or treating a soldier friend!
What is on the 120-dish sushi and grill buffet?
Time to enjoy the buffet! About 120 kinds of sushi and grill buffet — I was already excited haha. Another nice thing was that, compared to other places, the food stations weren't spread too far apart!

First up is the roll, gunkan, and sushi corner — basically QooQoo Chuncheon's identity.
There really were so many varieties, and they kept making more. Try one of each of the 120 kinds and you're already full — that feeling!
If you catch the right timing, you can even watch them slice the raw fish right in front of you haha.
Among the sushi, various cuts of raw fish stood out — clearly fresh at a glance!
Texas Smoke BBQ: LA-style short ribs and buffalo sticks
The Texas Smoke BBQ station's highlights were the LA-style short ribs and buffalo sticks, plus lamb ribs too.

The pizza and fried food corner
At the pizza and fried food corner —

Alongside the eye-catching pizza, the mini steak bites, quesadillas, kkwabaegi-style pork, and chicken stood out — though the chicken was too spicy for the kids to eat haha. Which meant more for me (?)

The hot corner and the salad corner
At the hot corner there was fried rice, steamed clams, and steamed oysters, and —
among the various salads, there was yukhoe (Korean beef tartare), fresh kimchi, spicy perilla oil cold noodles, and yogurt,

Desserts: marble ice cream, waffles and mango bingsu
For dessert last, there was a really wide variety of ice cream — 8 kinds in total —

My kid's number one pick — the marble ice cream!!!

Also various fruits, breads, and cakes, and —
of course... waffles haha. There was sorbet alongside the waffles too.
Is a weekend visit to QooQoo Chuncheon Branch worth it?
I lost count of how many plates we ate — a genuine eating storm...
The diet... well... it's a birthday, so we'll let it slide?
Fruit, sorbet, ice cream, waffles, and mango bingsu — we enjoyed a full variety and left truly stuffed haha.
