Hapjeong café in Seoul for fruity brew coffee: Central Site
In short
Central Site Hapjeong is a roastery café near Hapjeong Station in Mapo, Seoul. We had two bright, acidic brew coffees and the tiramisu that brought us back, all in a polished date-friendly setting. Verdict: a great pick for fruity coffee and well-balanced tiramisu.

Today I’m introducing Central Site Hapjeong, a café near Hapjeong Station known for its beans and brew coffee—and a dessert spot I revisited because the tiramisu is so good.

Central Site Hapjeong in three honest lines 1. A date café near Hapjeong Station 2. Great brew coffee near Hapjeong Station 3. Great tiramisu near Hapjeong Station
A roastery café beside Mecenatpolis near Hapjeong Station

Central Site is tucked into the alley beside Hapjeong Mecenatpolis, behind Exit 2 of Hapjeong Station—a great coffee spot with a wide range of beans.

Central Site Coffee Roaster. This is a coffee spot that roasts on site, and it has outdoor tables too, making it a lovely café to visit in autumn.
Inside Central Site Hapjeong at lunchtime

We visited Central Site at lunchtime. It was so packed inside that I couldn’t take many photos. It isn’t a café with lots of tables overall. Personally, though, I loved the atmosphere: polished, with that unmistakable feel of a truly good coffee place.

There’s a space in the back where they roast coffee themselves. A roastery café like this just can’t have bad coffee, right? Central Site is well known for its delicious beans.

The atmosphere just screams great coffee. Central Site also sells beans roasted in-house. It has such a nice mood for a date, and it looks like a good option for the second stop on a first date too.
Brew coffee and dessert menu

Central Site’s brew coffee. As you’d expect from a roastery known for its beans, there is brew coffee on the menu. We really like coffees with acidity, which is why we love this place. So once again, we ordered coffees absolutely full of brightness 😋

The espresso menu. If a place is this good at brew coffee, the Americano can’t be bad either. Decaf is available, and there are non-coffee drinks too.

Central Site desserts. This is why we came back: the coffee is excellent, but the tiramisu here is seriously outstanding. Tiramisu immediately ordered.

You can buy beans here too 😉
Bright, acidic brew coffee and tiramisu
- Colombia Finca — ₩12,000
- Ethiopia Nordic — ₩9,000
- Tiramisu — ₩8,500

Both the tiramisu and brew coffee look polished from the start. I especially loved the coffee glasses: the whiskey-glass look with whiskey-style ice is such a visual win 👍

Colombia Quebraditas Geisha Washed Peach Punch
It was full of refreshing fruit aroma that suited summer perfectly. This bean had a fruitiness quite different from the Yirgacheffe. Rather than simply feeling strongly acidic, it was more packed with fruit aroma. Personally, I found it so delicious. Peach, apricot, and watermelon—so refreshing 😊

Ethiopia Nordic Approach Yirgacheffe Chelbesa Washed
This was a slightly more familiar bean than the Colombia Peach Punch. Delicious, balanced acidity with a familiar, refined taste. The harmony of sweetness and acidity was lovely 😋

Tiramisu that pairs beautifully with coffee
Tiramisu, ₩8,500. One big reason we came back to Central Site: the tiramisu here is seriously excellent. It is beautifully balanced—not overly sweet or rich. The coffee here is so good that a dessert at exactly this level is perfect. Anything too sweet or heavy could overpower the aroma of the beans, but this tiramisu works wonderfully with the coffee.

The brew coffee comes with a pricey square ice cube. It is the clear, bubble-free kind of ice you might see only at a whiskey bar. Apparently, ice like this is difficult to make. So clear and clean-looking.
Why I recommend it for a Hapjeong date

A recommended date café near Hapjeong Station. Central Site is a roastery café with delicious beans and desserts to match. Its polished atmosphere makes it a lovely place for a date or a first date in Hapjeong. The coffee comes first at this bean-focused roastery, and the tiramisu designed to suit it is especially charming. If you are looking for a date café in Hapjeong, I recommend this one.
