Today I went with my parents to Doasis, a large bakery café near Deokjeong Station in Yangju.

I heard there was a massive bakery café near Deokjeong Station in Yangju built inside an old public bathhouse, so I went with my parents after lunch! It's such an overwhelming size, about 2,000 pyeong, that even the parking lot was huge — I was already excited before we even walked in 💕
The moment the elevator doors opened, I was struck again by how massive the scale was! It actually felt a bit like a wedding hall — and sure enough, they do run small weddings there too.
The 3rd floor is also used for first-birthday parties, small weddings, and various gatherings, so if you're coming as a group, it seems best to inquire in advance.
The sunlight streaming in through the windows was just so pretty at this huge Deokjeong, Yangju café Doasis!! I visited on a weekday, and without kids around, just with my parents, it was so calm and quiet — even more healing that way ^^
What are the seats like at Doasis?
Doasis has multiple zones spread across the 2nd and 3rd floors, and there are really a lot of seats. Whether it's a date, friends, family, or a group gathering, you can pick a seat to match the mood.
There were so many different spaces and so many seats that I actually had trouble deciding where to sit haha
They have baby chairs and even a nursing room with a diaper-changing station, which was really nice. You can freely use the microwave and toaster too, and any leftover bread you can just pack up yourself haha
Doasis bakery and brunch menu and prices
Doasis bakes about 50 kinds of bread and desserts fresh every day, alongside brunch and drinks made with high-quality coffee beans. The staff recommended the yukjjok garlic bread (six-clove garlic bread).
There was such a wide range, from brunch dishes to bakery items! They even had pizza and beer, which looked great for a casual drink. Every single bakery item looked so delicious I wanted to pile them all onto a tray, but since I'd just had lunch, I held back ^^

Palm trees that make Doasis feel like a botanical garden
Doasis is a café built on the concept of an oasis in the city — a palm tree botanical garden. Maybe because it's a space renovated from an old bathhouse building, it felt really unique, and every corner was a photo zone.
Palm trees grown and brought directly from Jeju fill the inside of the café, giving it the atmosphere of an actual botanical garden — it even helps purify the air, which was so nice!
How do the black sesame cream latte and garlic bread taste?
The black sesame cream latte (₩8,300) I picked at Doasis — total recommend!! Even switched to decaf, it was really delicious. The black sesame cream on top was so thick and rich that it made it even better (don't stir it, just drink it as is lol)
Yukjjok garlic bread and blueberry brioche!
Crispy outside, soft inside, and loaded with garlic butter — perfect with coffee! I understood why the yukjjok garlic bread is their signature bread. The blueberry brioche was super fluffy, topped generously with blueberry jam, sweet and tangy, and it just melted in my mouth.
I'm sort of on a diet these days lol, so I picked a refreshing salad. The combination of fresh green vegetables, tomato, and burrata with balsamic dressing worked really well together.
Eating it with ciabatta on top would've been amazing lol — I ate it all up fresh, not leaving a single bite 😆
Is Doasis worth a visit? Final thoughts
The spacious, comfortable space filled with lush green plants and palm trees made it feel totally different from your average huge, artificial-looking café — it really was a unique botanical-garden café. Every corner was a photo zone, and my parents loved it so much that I want to come back again ^^
