I recently found a Western restaurant on Dalmaji-gil that nailed both the mood and the food! Let me introduce Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, a Haeundae restaurant famous for great pasta and pizza :)

Where is Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, and how does parking work?

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, the Western restaurant with great pasta and pizza, sits right at the entrance where Dalmaji-gil begins. Given the location, coming by car is definitely more convenient. The building has Café de Bueok and Bueokgan Chinese on the first floor, and the European restaurant Bueokgan on the second floor.

There's a parking lot in the basement (B1), which was convenient to use! Just note that due to the structure, you'll need to double park :)

Inside the second-floor hall: green window views and roomy seating

Head up to the second floor and there's Bueokgan! The green view that hit me the moment I walked in .. <3 The wide floor-to-ceiling windows gave the place such an open, airy feel and the atmosphere was really lovely.

The place is on the larger side, so seating was really ample. The interior had a modern yet sentimental feel — exactly the kind of place that looks like a great-atmosphere restaurant to anyone walking in!

They have baby chairs ready, so Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is perfect for visiting with kids too :)

Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is a European restaurant, so you can find all kinds of Western dishes — steak, pizza, pasta, salad, soup, and more. They also have a reasonably priced set menu, so I went with the Bueokgan Couple's Dish set!

Napa cabbage Caesar salad

Most blog reviews mentioned the napa cabbage Caesar salad, so I got curious and ordered it — and to cut to the chase, I highly recommend this dish ,,

Nicely charred napa cabbage (seared Chinese cabbage) topped with grilled bacon pieces and plenty of Caesar dressing. Cut into bite-size pieces and dipped generously into the sauce, it was seriously satisfying — the kind of dish that makes you say 'wow, this is good' without even thinking. The combination of crisp cabbage and Caesar dressing was so good I'm definitely ordering this again next time!

Vongole pasta (clam pasta)

For pasta I went with the classic vongole.

You could really taste that distinctive vongole savoriness, and the noodles were on the thicker side but cooked to just the right doneness — I liked that.

Arugula prosciutto wood-fired pizza

The pizza at Bueokgan Haeundae Branch is wood-fired. The chewy pizza dough was a total pass, and on top of that the salty prosciutto and fragrant arugula went together really well — I enjoyed it a lot :)

Pastry soup

For soup I ordered the pastry soup — sweet pumpkin soup topped with pastry. Can you see the golden pumpkin soup hiding under the pastry?

You could really taste that deep pumpkin flavor, full of sweetness — this was genuinely delicious too. If you visit, I'd recommend trying the soup as well!

Every single dish was delicious, so I left completely satisfied — this was Bueokgan Haeundae Branch, the Haeundae restaurant known for great pasta and pizza :) If you're looking for a Western restaurant near Haeundae or Dalmaji-gil, one that'll satisfy you on both atmosphere and taste, I'd recommend giving Bueokgan Haeundae Branch a visit 🕊️
