Pasta Go Magok Branch is a Western restaurant on the 2nd floor of a building right outside Exit 1 of Magok Naru Station, which made it perfect for a dinner stop before a show at LG Arts Center. I went to see a musical at LG Arts Center yesterday for the first time in a while. While looking for somewhere to eat beforehand, I found a place with amazing value for money — this Seoul Botanic Park-area gem, Pasta Go Magok Branch!

As soon as you walk into Pasta Go Magok Branch you can order right at the kiosk. There are discount promotions for both dine-in and takeout, so the meal ends up being extremely good value. Even a Western-food menu I'd normally never dare order solo suddenly felt totally doable haha. I actually came here specifically to eat alone that day.

Inside Pasta Go Magok Branch: seating and the self-serve bar
Pasta Go Magok Branch has an overall clean, minimal-tone interior, and since this is an office-heavy neighborhood, the dinner hour was fairly quiet. Delivery orders, on the other hand, kept ringing nonstop lol. Anyway, the hall was spacious, which made solo dining feel completely relaxed.
This Seoul Botanic Park-area restaurant, Pasta Go Magok Branch, also keeps its self-serve bar neat and tidy. Most of the staff seemed to be in the kitchen — how do they keep it this organized?!
How fast does the food arrive at Pasta Go?
And here's the thing... is this a fast food joint? The food came out in about 5 minutes lol. I saw them start making the pizza the moment I ordered — that speed was very much appreciated haha.
Behold the glorious gnocchi and mini pizza~ The pizza is about the size of an adult palm, so it's a totally manageable side for one person alongside a main dish.
Gnocchi Lover at 13,000 won: how does it taste?
The gnocchi at Pasta Go Magok Branch comes loaded with cream sauce, plus bacon, mushrooms, and croutons — nicely packed! There's even bread to dip in the sauce lol.
This is the chewy-textured gnocchi Koreans really love. And it's only ₩13,000... Usually a dish like this runs in the high ₩20,000s, so I was genuinely moved while eating it lol.
At first I cut it in half to savor it slowly, but eventually I started taking full bites just to feel that chewy texture. Whenever it started to feel a bit rich, the Sprite cut right through it, so I never got tired of it! FYI you can also get it spicy, but I'm bad with spice so I just went with the mild version.
The 4,400 won pepperoni mini pizza: size and how it pairs
And then there's the pizza you can get for just ₩4,400...! Having a mini pizza like this as a side dish is amazing because it lets you mix and match. If you came with two or more people, this Seoul Botanic Park-area spot, Pasta Go Magok Branch, would let you order a pasta plus an extra pizza with zero guilt. It's small, but the toppings are generous, and it paired really well with the gnocchi.

Getting close to finishing everything up lol. Toward the end I started combining bacon with gnocchi, and the chewy contrast was fantastic~ How do they even make this gnocchi... I almost want to try making it myself at home.

I cleaned my plate completely, which I haven't done in a long time! You just put your dishes on the counter on your way out. Eating well beforehand meant I was in top condition for the musical lol.
