What kind of café is Geurine Oasis in Pocheon's Gomori?

You can't talk about a drive near Seoul without mentioning Pocheon's Gomori! I visited Geurine Oasis, which is known for its gorgeous view. There are huge franchise cafés on either side, but you can go to franchises anytime, so if you're looking for somewhere special, I highly recommend this place.

The view was really good, the mood was quiet, and the pretty interior was clean and lovely. The staff were also so kind and pretty — this is my review of Geurine Oasis!

Main building or annex: where do you order?

Geurine Oasis is made up of two buildings, a main building and an annex, but you can only order at the main building. The ivory-colored building is the annex, and the dark green building is the main.

The interior itself has a warm yet sophisticated mood, so it's the kind of space where you get a great shot no matter where you snap a photo.

The interior of the main building was also really modern and clean — so, so pretty!

Being a bakery café, there was a wide variety of bread and it was kept very hygienically. Instead of customers picking bread up themselves, staff read the order slip and arrange it nicely on a plate — I thought that was really hygienic!

Once you step inside the main building, you can order at the kiosk. Since the weather was nice, there were more customers at the outdoor tables than inside the building!

Geurine Oasis has not only indoor seating but also atmospheric outdoor seating fully set up, so there's nothing better than enjoying nature in a cool breeze. The interior was so pretty it felt like being abroad! It was great for zoning out watching the water, and the lake view was lovely.

Dog-friendly space and photo zones

These days a lot of people are looking for places they can take their dogs on outings! Geurine Oasis has an outdoor space that's great to visit with dogs, so I thought it would be wonderful for dogs to run around stress-free.

There's also a pretty photo zone set up, so it would be great to visit with parents who love taking pictures!

Gomori Reservoir stretches out like a picture, and even sitting still, the cool breeze blew through — it was so nice, and the landscaping was really well kept too!

The interior itself has a warm yet sophisticated mood, the kind of space where great shots come out no matter where you snap. I got to take tons of photos, which made me so happy. It was a spot my parents really loved. Highly, highly recommend!

Matcha latte, rusk and the review-event croissant

You can't just walk past the smell of bread at a café! I ordered a matcha latte (₩8,000) and a rusk (₩3,500). They said they'd give a croissant for a Naver review event, so make sure to do the review event and get some bread!

The rusk wasn't just one kind of bread but a mix of several types, so the texture was fun, and it was just the right amount of sweet — I enjoyed it.

The croissant was a review-event item, but it still came with pretty plating, and they warmed it up in the oven right away so I could eat it warm!!!

The quality was really excellent. It's great with coffee too, but the pairing with the matcha latte was absolutely perfect.

Who is Geurine Oasis best for?

If you're visiting Pocheon's Gomori on a weekend and looking for a pretty café and bakery, I recommend Geurine Oasis! It was really pretty, clean, and tasty, and above all, the outdoor view was so good!!
