It's kind of hard to find a Jeonpo café worth going to after dinner, right? Since Hippy stays open until 10pm, you can drop by comfortably even after a late dinner — let me introduce it!

I was surprised even before stepping inside — such European vibes 𓂃𓈒𓏸♡ The entrance is decorated so beautifully for photos that anyone who loves taking pictures will feel great from the moment they walk in.

What is the seating and lighting like inside Hippy?

Once inside, you can feel the calm, low-lit atmosphere too — I think people who love a quiet, calm Jeonpo café will especially love this.

The lighting wasn't too bright or too dark either, just soft and warm — full of good vibes even in the evening. And best of all, it wasn't loud or chaotic, which made it even more satisfying.

They also sell cute little props, so it felt like browsing a little prop shop too.

The music is good and the mood is comfortable for chatting, so it's perfect when you want to stay a long time. The seats are spacious too, making it a great space for a date or for spending quiet time alone.

There's a separate annex room in the back, too, so it's comfortable to relax in even with a group or a gathering.

Outside, there's a tented outdoor terrace, so it'll be really satisfying if you want to enjoy the terrace when it's this hot or when it rains.

What drinks and desserts does Hippy serve?

For those who visit late and don't want the burden of regular coffee, decaf swaps are available, and there's a wide range of non-coffee drinks too!

This place is a dessert spot for sure — from financiers to cream puddings to cream pies, everything was fully stocked 〰️

There were so many kinds of cream pudding and cream pie, and the visuals piled high with cream were amazing +_+.. I agonized over what to get, but ended up ordering the boneui-bam (candied chestnut) flavor to match the autumn mood.

They mentioned they're now recruiting franchisees, so if you're interested, keep that in mind :)

Decaf vanilla latte, peach ade and Mont Blanc chestnut cream pudding

What I ordered was: vanilla latte / peach ade / Mont Blanc chestnut cream pudding.

Since I visited late in the evening, I switched the vanilla latte to decaf — but the owner said they might have accidentally made it with caffeine, and remade it for me ㅠㅠ! So kind, and so considerate too.

The peach ade had a thick layer of peach syrup at the bottom, and the sweet peach flavor was quite impressive.

The vanilla latte was just sweet enough, great for a sugar boost alongside dessert, and the subtle nuttiness came through well. I switched to decaf since I ate late, and thankfully I still slept fine, hehe.

The Mont Blanc chestnut cream pudding had a soft pudding base, with a big candied chestnut on top of the crumble.

It's not a style with an intensely strong chestnut flavor, so it seems like something anyone could enjoy easily!

It's a soft cream pudding flavor, but eaten together with the crunchy crumble, each bite added crunch and nuttiness. The pudding wasn't overly bouncy or dense in texture but more of a crumbly, crumbling texture — which actually seemed to pair even better with the crumble ~?

Is Hippy worth a late-night stop in Jeonpo?

Overall, thanks to the comfortable, lovely atmosphere, Hippy is a Jeonpo café I want to visit again. Since it's open late, I think the biggest advantage is being able to visit comfortably after dinner without watching the clock, haha. It's a spot for great coffee and desserts, so it's easy to visit with a friend, a partner, or by yourself ♡
