Lani Hair, a hair salon in Jeonju Sinsigaji, sits in the heart of the district, so it is easy to get to. My hair had grown long and was looking messy overall, so I went in for a neat cut and some gray coverage too :)

Lani Hair in Jeonju Sinsigaji was truly spacious and clean overall, so it never felt cramped and was very comfortable! The seats were generously spaced for a relaxing appointment, and there was a display of various hair-care products along one side that was nice to browse too!

Of all the salons I have visited, Lani Hair’s fourth Jeonju branch seemed like one of the biggest and most popular with customers. A really major plus was that every table had a wireless phone charger—it was so convenient :)

Consultation for a cut and black gray-coverage dye

Before the appointment, my hair was long all over and needed a cut, while the grown-out grays made it look untidy. After a thorough consultation with the stylist about the style I wanted, we got started.

This time, I had my hair done by Manager Hamin at Lani Hair in Jeonju Sinsigaji, and the verdict is: totally satisfied :) Before coloring the grays, they first cut back my messily grown-out hair, shaping the side and back lines neatly and tidily just as I wanted!

The cut alone made everything look tidier, and they listened carefully when I asked for the sides to be clipped to 9 mm.

They even brought me a drink and snacks, which made the wait much less boring.

The black dye process for gray coverage

They carefully put sanitary ear covers on me so the dye would not get on my ears. Since the goal was gray coverage, we went with black. They applied the color thoroughly so as not to damage my scalp or hair. After all the dye was on, I waited about 20 minutes; then they washed my hair thoroughly, gave my scalp a massage, and asked whether any areas were itchy. They said it must have felt really refreshing while they washed it :)

I had tried coloring my grays myself at home, but it did not reach all the way inside properly, did not work well, and faded quickly, so I ended up going to a salon. I was really pleased with how cleanly the color came out :)
