Ever since getting a straightening treatment and a perm recently—and maybe because the weather suddenly turned chilly too—my hair has become even drier and more brittle!! My hair is fine to begin with, so it looked extra limp and rough! The ends were all split too... Even after fixing my hair for work and applying hair oil, it only lasted for a little while... haha....!!

But if I kept applying oil, my hair would get greasy by the afternoon, so I was really torn ㅠㅠㅠ I decided I needed fundamental care and started looking around at hair salons, dreaming of smooth, swishy hair!! Haha

Then I found Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch (오르드비 상왕십리역점)!! They say they use only trusted products such as L'Oréal, Milbon, and AYUNCHE to protect hair health and shine at the same time, and carefully manage the aftercare too so hair stays glossy after a service. Walking to Oreudeubi Sangwangsimni Station Branch from Sindang Station

I’m a Line 6 girl, so I got off at Sindang Station haha. It may be the Sangwangsimni branch, but it is super, super close to Sindang Station too, so it would be great to stop by before plans in hip Sindang-dong! I came out of Exit 2 at Sindang Station and walked there in eight minutes!

Just enter through the building entrance you see and you’ll find it in no time! Haha. They are also running a 30% first-visit discount event, so I think it is an easy place for anyone who has not visited yet to try! Hahaha

One-on-one customized care starting with a consultation form

As soon as I walked in, they handed me a consultation form like this! They looked over the style I wanted and my hair concerns based on the form!! Then they provided care or a service to suit them, which made it feel like truly one-on-one customized service. So nice. Hehe

The interior was small, but its clean, modern, sophisticated design really stood out! It also felt comfortable while I was there. And, as you would expect from a place proud of the products it uses, they had products displayed all prettily~~!! Haha. I did not ask, but since they had price tags, it looked like they sell them separately too!

Why I chose the AYUNCHE hair clinic

Here is the price list below for reference! The products they use are premium, but the prices did not seem much higher than other hair salons, which caught my eye! Haha. There were several clinic options too, so I wondered what to choose, but I decided on the AYUNCHE hair clinic!!

Now, revealing my dry, rough hair before the treatment!! It might look okay up to the crown, but the ends were extremely brittle and all split!! ㅠㅠㅠ The uneven color from my dye job made it look even messier, which worried me! Hehehe haha

The clinic begins with moisturizing cream and steam

Time to begin~~! For step one, they applied lots of moisturizing cream! After applying it, they used steam so it could absorb well. Maybe because I watched Spider-Man recently, it made me think of Octopus haha.

They kindly brought me a snack while I was getting the treatment! I chose an iced Americano~! Having coffee while getting cared for felt so, so nice. Hehe

By the way, they also have a VIP membership. If you prepay through the membership, they add 10% extra credit, and extra services are provided depending on the amount! Hahaha. If you are planning to settle on a regular hair salon, getting the VIP membership could be really great~~~~

Oil-and-moisture care and shampoo time in a massage chair

Once the steam was finished, step two was applying a cream that balances oil and moisture. I loved that they applied it generously, without holding back. While caring for my hair, they listened to my concerns about its condition and told me how to care for it going forward too, which I appreciated! Hohoho, the second Octopus appears~~~~

Lastly, they shampooed my hair, did a hair pack, and gave me a scalp massage—and it was absolute heaven! The shampoo-room chair was even a massage chair, so I could lie down and get a massage too: two benefits in one! Hahaha. It was such a healing time. Hehe, my hair was finally finished! Ta-da~!

Softer hair ends after the clinic

Compared with before, my ends became much, much softer, and the hair around my crown fell smoothly with shine, making everything feel one or two levels more luxurious!! Haha. It also felt so soft when I ran my fingers through it, which I loved. Above all, the products smelled so good that I did not want to wash my hair until bedtime! Haha. So I did not wash it, and washed it the next morning instead. Hehe

Even now, about three days later, my hair still feels soft and somehow a little stronger!! I like that the effect does not seem temporary and feels long-lasting! There are four designers here, and I am so thankful to the designer who kindly, thoughtfully, and carefully cared for my rough hair. Hehe

I really, really recommend it to anyone looking for a customized-care hair salon around Sangwangsimni or Sindang! I am 200% willing to revisit!! Hahaha
