The place I visited was Billogeu Hair (비로그헤어) in Yeonji-dong! It had the feel of a neighborhood salon that is easy and comfortable to visit in Yeonji-dong, so it was easy to drop by without any pressure! Billogeu Hair is especially a one-chair salon! Since it is run by one person, there was no busy atmosphere overlapping with other clients, and I could receive a treatment focused entirely on my hairstyle :)

It is a recently opened salon, so everything was clean overall, and all the items in use were kept clean too, which made it feel even more pleasant ☺️👍🏻 The interior also had a warm, cozy atmosphere, so I felt relaxed as soon as I walked in :)

How much are perms and coloring?

I also looked over the prices! A basic perm was ₩60,000, a setting perm was ₩80,000, and coloring was also ₩60,000, which felt more affordable than I expected. Considering hair salon prices these days, it felt a little cheaper overall, which was even nicer :) Just keep in mind that there is a separate surcharge for length before visiting!

As soon as I arrived for my first visit, they gave me a thorough shampoo first 💆🏻♀️ Then they checked my hair condition and found that it was quite damaged, and they carefully noted that my hair was fine and felt stiff overall too!! They consulted with me step by step on how best to proceed for my hair condition, and because my hair was so damaged, they even provided protein care as a service! Rather than simply matching the style I wanted, they considered my current hair condition carefully throughout, which I liked even more :)

After the thorough consultation, I decided to go with a perm with a natural S-curl feel this time! We decided on a style with volume and waves that would look natural without being too much :)

They also applied the perm solution carefully to every single strand 〰️👀 It really did not feel like they were applying it roughly at all; they paid close attention from start to finish, which was great. Since my hair was fine and damaged in particular, I liked seeing them carefully check that the solution was being applied evenly :)

The time under heat with the machine took a little while! They made sure I could rest comfortably, so I listened to music quietly and used my phone while I waited, haha. They also thoughtfully checked from time to time whether I was uncomfortable, so I could relax during the treatment :)

Coffee, tea, and juice were available to drink during the treatment! I chose coffee, and they even gave me cookies, so I had a little snack while I waited ☕️🍪

Even though they used perm solution, they added plenty of nourishing care, so my hair looked neatly settled without feeling heavily damaged!! I was worried about damage, but they checked my hair condition carefully during the process, which put me at ease :)

They straightened the top section with magic setting! They tidied it neatly without any frizzy sections puffing up, and treated it so it would flow naturally into the S-curls below :)

They carefully applied the neutralizer too‼️ Usually after a perm, the chemical smell can feel quite strong, but I liked that the distinctive chemical odor was not severe here! Perhaps because the products they used were good, the smell was less of a burden, and I could stay comfortable through to the end :)

Finally, while drying my hair, they carefully explained how to care for it day to day and which direction to dry it in 😊👏🏻 It was even better because they taught me the drying method too, so I could style it prettily myself at home :)

Magic setting and S-curl perm complete

Ta-da! Such pretty S-curls were complete 🤍 I loved them even more because they were natural S-curls that flowed without looking overly curled! Even after drying my hair, the curls came back naturally, giving just the right polished-but-not-overdone look 😊 The top was straightened neatly, while natural S-curls were added below, so the overall result looked calm and tidy rather than frizzy! It was a naturally pretty style even without much styling, so I really loved it as an everyday hairstyle :)

You can really see the before-and-after difference, right? 😆 My hair, which had been frizzy and unkempt overall, became much calmer and prettier with natural S-curls and neat magic setting!! This time, including the length surcharge, my treatment came to the low ₩100,000 range! I was satisfied that I could get a pretty style at a price that was less burdensome than I expected!

They even gave my hair a little tidy-up at the start, and perhaps because it is a one-chair salon, they were so generous with all sorts of little services, which I loved! This was my first time visiting a one-chair salon, and I definitely liked the private feeling!! 😚 Above all, the owner was so kind, and the small talk we had here and there was fun, so I felt comfortable throughout the treatment 〰️〰️👍🏻 Unlike salons with many clients together, it felt like I was receiving focused care all to myself, which made me even more satisfied. They looked after everything carefully while making it easy to relax, so I found myself thinking that I would like to visit again next time :) 100% willing to return 💯 I was satisfied!
