Jeonju hair salon thermal perm with natural curls: Hairwell

I wanted to change up my hairstyle a little lately, so I went to a hair salon for a Basic thermal perm.

A Hair Salon That Was Easy to Visit

The salon is on the second floor of the building, and there is parking, so it was easy to visit by car too.

What I especially liked was that if you come up directly from the parking lot, there is only the salon, and even from the main entrance, the second floor has a separate route leading up to the salon with no other shops.

I liked that it felt a little quieter and more relaxed than a salon inside a building shared with lots of other stores. The route from parking to the salon was not difficult either, so there was no inconvenience even on a first visit.

The inside of the salon was spacious and pleasant without feeling cramped. I could not take photos of the shampoo room because another customer was having their hair washed, but it had a cozy atmosphere and was nice.

Thermal Perm Consultation Based on My Hair Condition

Before the perm, we first talked about the condition of my hair and how I usually style it. I liked that they did not simply proceed exactly with the style I wanted; they kept consulting with me along the way about what style would suit me best while looking at my current hair condition.

I especially liked that they did not just explain the treatment once and finish there—they continued checking on the curls and style throughout the process. The male director did the treatment very carefully. It was much more detailed than I had expected.

Shampoo Massage and Snacks While I Waited

One thing that personally stayed with me was the shampoo. Rather than feeling like a simple hair wash, it felt like a professional massage around my scalp and neck, and it was so refreshing that I felt my fatigue melt away.

After getting a treatment at a hair salon, my neck or shoulders can sometimes feel a little uncomfortable, but it felt so nice to lie back comfortably and get that refreshing shampoo. I wanted more shampoo time~

They also prepared drinks and snacks while I waited for the perm, so I happily munched away while waiting.

A New Perm Result With Natural Curls

And the most important part: the perm result! Compared with before, the overall feeling of my hair definitely changed.

Seeing the before on the left and after on the right together made the difference even clearer. I loved that the curls came out with the natural look I wanted, and above all, I appreciated that they had consulted with me based on my hair condition right from the point of choosing a style.

They showed me how to dry and care for my hair while drying it themselves, so good!! Even when you know, you always forget, right?! I will make sure to follow it to keep the style lasting longer~

Overall Thoughts

The best parts of getting this Basic thermal perm were the thorough consultation and delicate treatment. They checked the style not only during the initial consultation but also throughout the treatment, and adjusted the process for my hair, so I was able to relax.

Personally, being able to park and having the whole second floor as the salon, rather than being mixed in with other stores, were also advantages. Most of all, the refreshing massage during the shampoo made it feel as though I had taken a comfortable break while getting my hair done.
