It's perfect for when you want plentiful, quality Korean food near Cheoin-gu, Yongin. Parking at Daedong Korean Buffet: full lot even at weekend lunch

What I liked most about Daedong Korean Buffet & Dosirak was that the parking lot was super spacious. Even so, it was completely full when I visited on a weekend — this place is clearly popular, ha!

The moment I stepped inside, I noticed how clean and spacious the dining area was! There were seats set up for eating alone, as well as plenty of room for larger groups to eat together.

How much is the buffet at Daedong? Under 10,000 won

In this era of high prices!!! A buffet for under ₩10,000!!

The tableware was also very well kept and clean, so I could enjoy my meal with peace of mind about hygiene — impressive.

The biggest reason I was satisfied with this place was the variety of Korean dishes 🍚 A weekly menu is posted on Naver updates, and it's genuinely full of delicious options.

From tidy basic banchan (side dishes) to main meat dishes and ssoya (soy-braised tofu and vegetables), it was really substantial. It was also impressive how the staff kept refilling everything warm and fresh before it ran out. Once I experienced it myself, I understood exactly why so many people recommend this place as a Yongin Korean buffet, haha.

One plate from the Daedong buffet: how strong is the seasoning?

I served myself as much as I wanted onto my plate and dug in, haha. Overall the seasoning wasn't too strong — it was healthy like home cooking, yet had a really nice savory depth that kept pulling me back in 🫢 You could taste the freshness of the ingredients, so it never got tiring, and it sat easy in my stomach like a meal my parents made. If you've been looking for a Yangji-myeon, Cheoin-gu buffet restaurant that nails both value and taste, I think you'll be very satisfied!

Another great thing is that they have raw vegetables available! A lot of people are health-conscious these days, and this was really nice, haha. Good for keeping blood sugar down, keep it down...

But the problem is — there's also a ramen corner. I figured, well, if I eat raw veggies and then ramen, it should balance out, right? Lol

In the end, I overate anyway, ugh.

With dessert included like this, of course I overate, ugh. The sweet rice cake is genuinely so good — I want to eat it again already.
