What does the Oslo Park entrance look like?
The exterior of Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch combines a gray awning with floor-to-ceiling glass windows. Even though it's on the basement level, the large windows made it stand out from a distance.

The clean gray awning paired with the glass windows really caught my eye. 👍
Arched ceilings and the European mood inside Bueokgan
Inside, the space centers on high ceilings and an arched structure. Sleek lighting, antique frames, wood furniture, and green plants combined to create the feel of a European Italian restaurant.

The high ceiling, arched structure, and sleek lighting caught my eye right away. I felt like I'd stepped into a stylish European restaurant, and I was in a good mood for the whole meal, soaking in that unique, modern atmosphere.

The large windows let in great light and also gave a wide-open view outside, so it never felt cramped. The tables were spaced generously and everything felt tidy.

The walls were nicely decorated with tasteful antique frames. 😊

The wood furniture and green plants blended together beautifully, adding a calm, upscale feel.

Each table had a tablet for ordering, so we could look at menu photos and order easily.

They also had several high chairs ready for toddlers.
The three dishes ordered at Bueokgan, and an honest taste review
At Bueokgan Restaurant Yangsan Oslo Park Branch, we ordered three dishes: basil pesto cream pasta, abalone cream risotto, and basil margherita pizza. Everything was set out generously, and the visuals alone made my mouth water! 😊
Basil pesto cream pasta

The thick, rich cream base was infused with plenty of fresh basil aroma. Breaking the soft poached egg on top and mixing it in doubled the savory flavor. The sauce clung to the noodles without pooling, and with every bite the subtle basil flavor came through more. A clean pasta with no greasy aftertaste! 😋
Abalone cream risotto

The rich savoriness of the abalone innards blended perfectly with the smooth cream for a risotto packed with flavor. The rice grains kept their texture, and the finely chopped abalone had a nice bite. 😋 Eating it together with the crispy fried enoki mushroom garnish added even more crunch and savoriness. The umami unique to abalone melted into the cream sauce for a truly upscale dish! 👍
Basil margherita pizza

On top of a crispy yet light dough came chewy cheese, tomato, fresh arugula, and basil sauce. The freshly baked dough's savoriness, the tangy tomato sauce, and the refreshing basil all came through fully.

I also tried a bit of the Tabasco sauce that came with it, and the kick cut through any greasiness nicely. It was the perfect pairing to share alongside the pasta and risotto! 😋
