Goseong-dong Korean BBQ with kimchi noodle soup in Daegu: Ttukbang
In short
Ttukbang is a pre-grilled Korean BBQ restaurant in Goseong-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu, close to iM Bank Park and the Buk-gu District Office. Arriving at 7:30pm, Ttukbang was nearly full, and the order was one serving each of salted pork belly, salted pork neck and Ttukbang makchang (grilled pork intestines) plus kimchi-mari guksu (cold kimchi noodle soup). Because the meat arrives pre-grilled and ready to cut, and parking fees are covered, Ttukbang works well for a group meal after a match.

Today I'm introducing a restaurant in Goseong-dong, Buk-gu, Daegu — Ttukbang! It's near the Buk-gu Office and Daegu iM Bank Park, so it's a great and easy stop if you're heading to a soccer match‼️ And on Daegu FC match days, they'll give you a free bowl of jajang egg rice, so keep that in mind🤩

Where is Ttukbang? Hours and parking
Ttukbang is at 188 Goseong-ro, 1st floor, Buk-gu, Daegu, and is open 17:00–24:00, closed every Monday. Check the photo below for parking!
Parking guides were posted all over the walls — 1. park in the line in front of the store, or 2. park inside the DGB Park parking lot. They even cover the parking fee, so you can park without worry!😮

The owner is so sweet..🫶🏻🫶🏻
Inside Ttukbang: is it good for groups?
We arrived around 7:30pm and it was already really crowded, almost fully booked...😮😮 There's plenty of seating inside, so it seemed like a great spot for company dinners, club meetups, and other group gatherings!!
And you can even watch baseball on this big TV 💙💙💙💙💙

Ttukbang menu and minimum order
Ttukbang's menu includes salted pork neck (150g), Ttukbang makchang (130g), salted pork belly (150g), and Ttukbang mala makchang (110g)! I'd never heard of mala makchang before, so I'll have to come try it next time! *The first order must be at least 3 servings, and mala makchang alone starts from 2 servings; other menu items can be ordered one at a time‼️

And if you write a receipt review, they'll give you jajang egg rice, so it's worth writing one before you eat!!

Ttukbang side dishes and self-serve bar
The side dishes were varied and generous — kimchi, kimchi pancake, grilled baek-kimchi (white kimchi), garlic, salted fermented anchovy, silkworm pupae, pickled onion, and wrap vegetables!

And they just give you steamed egg for free too!!! It was fluffy, soft, and pudding-like🤩
There was also a self-serve bar with grillable rice cakes, cheongyang chili peppers, sauces, and more — good to grab and enjoy!

Ttukbang meat: one serving each of pork belly, neck and makchang
We were curious about all the meat, so we ordered one of each! We got makchang, salted pork neck, and salted pork belly — one each! And since all of Ttukbang's meat comes pre-grilled, you can cut it and cook it right away, which made everything come out fast — I really loved that part✌🏻

The biggest advantage of pre-grilled meat is that it cuts down grilling time, makes it easier to cut, and lets you eat quickly, I think😍

Salted pork belly at Ttukbang
The meat cut so easily, and can you see how thick this pork belly is....🤩
The moment I took one bite of the pork belly, the juices..... were locked in so well, moist and tender! I think it's the softest pork belly I've had••

Delicious dipped in salt, delicious wrapped in lettuce, and delicious with pickled lettuce too🫰🏻

Salted pork neck at Ttukbang
Next up is the pork neck!! It cut just as easily as the belly, and was really soft and moist when eaten•• All of Ttukbang's meats seem full of juice and tender, probably thanks to their skillful pre-grilling😍

Ttukbang makchang (grilled pork intestines)
Finally we had the makchang too, and it was packed with fat inside, so soft it was almost like it had milk in it, and delicious with no off smell at all...🤤🤤 I highly recommend ordering one of everything when you visit Ttukbang🤙🏻

The side to order: kimchi-mari guksu (cold kimchi noodle soup)
While eating the meat we also ordered kimchi-mari guksu (cold kimchi noodle soup) as a side, and the portion was generous and it cut through the richness of the meat nicely, making everything taste even better‼️ Be sure to order the kimchi-mari guksu along with your meat~!

Before leaving, there was even a coffee vending machine, toothpicks, and Febreze all set up nicely!

And when we paid and were heading out, there was a lighter at the register that you could just take, plus they gave us an eco bag too!! Seems like something I'll get plenty of use out of, haha
Is Ttukbang worth a visit? Final verdict
Being near Daegu iM Bank Park and the Buk-gu Office makes it a great stop after a match, and the spacious interior seemed perfect for company dinners, club meetups, and other group gatherings! Since the meat comes pre-grilled, you can cook it and eat it quickly right after it arrives, and the meat is full of juice, tender, moist, and free of any off smell, so I think it would please just about anyone🤩🫰🏻 They also cover parking fees and give out free jajang egg rice on days with a Daegu FC match, so keep that in mind when you visit😋
