A furniture-showroom café near Suwon Station

Today, I’m sharing Tteum Café by Oneplay Suwon Station (띰 카페 바이 원플레이), a lovely, atmospheric café where I met up with a friend near Suwon Station for a serious catch-up! The desserts were delicious and the space itself was so charming that I really wanted to recommend it, haha.

Getting there and the exterior

Tteum Café by Oneplay is not far from Suwon Station, so it was perfectly located for meeting a friend and walking over! Its clean, modern exterior stood out even from a distance, which made it easy to find, haha.

What is the furniture-showroom interior like?

Once inside, it felt really stylish and distinctive because, unlike a typical café, it is run alongside a furniture showroom! There were quietly quite a few tables, and the calm atmosphere seemed great for bringing a laptop or working alone, too!

In particular, the calm, polished mood unique to a furniture showroom made it such a comfortable place to stay with my friend that we completely lost track of time, haha.

Choosing coffee beans and handmade desserts

A large menu board is displayed near the counter, with a wide range of drinks from coffee to ades. Most of all, I loved that you can choose your preferred beans when ordering an Americano.

Along with Americanos made with different beans, this is a place to enjoy hand-drip and brewed coffee, so it is apparently a go-to coffee spot for coffee lovers! The beans were set out so that you could smell each one yourself, and they smelled absolutely amazing!!

Beyond coffee, there was a whole spread of beautifully presented handmade desserts—croffles, financiers, tiramisu, and cakes. They looked so tempting that any thought of needing to diet vanished immediately.

We had already eaten a good meal, so we ordered an ice cream croffle for a sugar boost, an iced Americano made with Milan beans, known for their full-bodied, nutty character, and a refreshing apple yuzu ade.

Apple yuzu ade

This was my friend’s pick. Fragrant apple tea formed the base, with plenty of sweet yuzu marmalade mixed in, doubling the freshness! My friend raved that it was not the artificial sweetness of syrup, but a fruity sweetness that came from the fruit itself, haha.

Milan-bean iced Americano

I was amazed by how elegant and pretty the drink presentation was. The coffee arrived in a glass server, which we poured ourselves into an ice-filled glass that felt like an elegant wineglass with a gold rim. The full-bodied, nutty character of the Milan beans was a dream pairing with the sweet croffle! ❤️

Ice cream croffle

A croffle—a croissant-waffle hybrid—baked crisp on the outside and chewy within, with its layers still intact, then topped generously with sweet, cold vanilla ice cream: a combination that simply could not be anything but delicious!

They also brought maple syrup separately, so we could drizzle it on to our liking for a proper sugar boost! The croffle came in two fairly large pieces, and there was so much that my friend and I could not finish it all. Generous and delicious—if you are craving something sweet, I recommend it!
