Since I hadn’t been able to style my hair often, at some point it started looking quite frizzy and dry. This may not show up well in photos, but one detail that really impressed me personally was that the gowns weren’t just hung up—they were stored individually in pouches! Consultation on my frizzy long hair and styling habits

This was what my hair looked like before the treatment. It had grown fairly long, but the ends needed tidying, and I was concerned that it looked frizzy and dry overall. Still, I’m not someone who diligently blow-dries or styles my hair every day, so if I got a style that was difficult to maintain, it might look nice for only the first few days before I ended up tying it back again, haha.

On top of that, my hair is humidity-prone, and I had bleached it two years ago. Since then, it had gradually lost its shine, and even though it was long, I had reached the point where I couldn’t wear it down. I boldly said goodbye to my long hair and got it cut into a bob! Quite a lot came off, but she shaped the line in a way that would be easy for me to maintain with my hair texture.

I also had a straightening treatment along with the cut. Rather than hair that was forced to lie completely flat, I wanted my frizzy, dry-looking hair to look neat and calm. What satisfied me most was that after the treatment, it didn’t look more dry from damage.

Since the treatment takes some time, they brought me a drink and a snack in the middle, too. Somehow, nibbling on little things while waiting makes the time pass quickly 🙂 And finally, it was done!

What do you think? Compared with the before photo, the overall impression is clearly different, right? Even with the straightening treatment, my hair actually has more volume than it did when it was long, so it looks fuller—I’m so pleased~!

What I loved most was that it wasn’t simply straightened. The frizzy, dry-looking feel was smoothed out, making my hair look calm and polished overall.

A bob can feel like a commitment because, if it’s cut badly, it seems as though you’ll have to style it every morning. But she considered that I can’t spend much time styling my hair, so it looks like it will be easy to manage at home, too.

Even after straightening, I liked that it didn’t look as if it had been forcibly pressed flat; instead, the texture looked calmly smoothed out. Above all, once the dry-looking feel from before was reduced, just getting my hair sorted made my whole appearance look much neater.
