Jo Hui-tak Coffee sits right in front of Ajou University, and the inner space is roomy :) I wondered how big it could really be, but it was genuinely bigger than I expected. Such a good atmosphere for studying too 😉 It's tucked in the alley right in front of Ajou's main gate, so it's a great spot to pop into for a coffee while wandering around the area.

Power outlet seats and the back room: is Jo Hui-tak Coffee good for studying?

There are large tables, tables with outlets, and inner seats with nice lighting too, but they were packed haha. It had that lively study-café buzz, just the right amount of noise, and I loved it 😉

There's also a cozy hidden spot tucked away, and the interior is clean and pretty, making it a really nice atmosphere to visit solo 👍

There were plump-looking egg tarts, cookies, financiers, and all sorts of cakes, plus several kinds of sando (fruit sandwiches)! They said the sando use kirikiri cream cheese, and it sounds so delicious.. 😉

Up front there were such delicious-looking salt breads.. 🫶 I wanted to eat a whole pile of them. There was also the trendy choco baguette 🔥

Americano refills and Suwoni goods at Jo Hui-tak Coffee

Walk from the entrance further in and there's a whole layout of roomy seats! You can also get an Americano refill if you order one drink per person! Such a great environment for a long study session 🫶🥹 They were also selling Suwoni the frog goods haha, fun for a bit of casual browsing~

How does the 8,000-won chestnut cheesecake taste?

What I picked was the chestnut cheesecake and iced Americano. Chestnut desserts are everywhere now that it's fall, and this one looked so good I had to try it! 🌰

It was soft and had a really strong chestnut flavor, so good! The cookie crumble and sunflower seeds on top were a great combo too 👍 It paired well with the iced Americano too, so I finished it in no time 😙

Ate something delicious and got to heal in a good mood, thanks to this place~~ I recommend Jo Hui-tak Coffee, the great-vibe café in front of Ajou University 🔥♥️
