So on this day, right after finishing my workout, I suddenly craved that coffee so bad, haha. Fall weather is slowly creeping in these days, the breeze is cooler, and somehow I just kept thinking about that nutty coffee aroma~_~ So I stopped by Central Site Hapjeong again, a place I'd visited before!!
When I visited the Yeonnam branch before, the tiramisu really stuck with me. The coffee was great but the vibe was even better, so I went in with a little bit of expectation this time too — and once again, I was satisfied hahaha.

How long is the walk from Hapjeong Station Exit 2?

It's a spot you can find quickly from Hapjeong Station. Come out of Exit 2, turn into the alley on the right, and it's right there after a short walk. It's really close on foot, so it's convenient as a meeting spot too!! Even from a distance, it just has that good-vibe café feel ^ㅁ^

The outdoor terrace in autumn
What caught my eye most was the outdoor terrace seating!! In weather like this getting cooler, there are times you'd rather sit outside than inside.

It felt like the perfect vibe for sitting with a cup of coffee and a book while feeling the fall breeze. And since it's dog-friendly, it seemed like a great place to visit with your dog too!!

Indoor seating and laptop work at Central Site Hapjeong
The inside of Central Site Hapjeong features soft lighting and a full glass window, plus there's a bar table set up so you can work on a laptop. Once you step in, the space is decorated with soft lighting, and the full glass window keeps it from feeling cramped despite the size of the space. Natural light comes in and it felt open overall.

There's also a bar table, and quite a few people were working there on laptops. It seemed like a good atmosphere for working alone with coffee, or chatting quietly with a friend!!
Perfect for a weekend outing date too, stopping by for coffee and some downtime!

Central Site especially stands out for roasting its own beans, so there's a wide variety of brewing coffees.

From entry-level to high-end specialty, there are various beans prepared, and you can even get a recommendation from the barista.
What we ordered: two Ethiopian drips and classic tiramisu

I decided to try the Ethiopia limited edition!!!! I usually prefer light, fragrant drip coffee over strong coffee, so I chose drip last time too, but this time I picked a different bean haha. What I ordered was Ethiopia Tamiru 74158 Natural. I was curious since it seemed like it might have more of a melon-type aroma, so I picked it.

And of course I had to order the tiramisu too@@

And up front, they were also selling beans. If you're someone who brews coffee at home, picking up some beans seemed like a good idea too.

Ethiopia Tamiru 74158 Natural vs Nigusse Gemeda Washed: taste compared
The drip coffee at Central Site Hapjeong came with a big cube of ice in a glass — Tamiru 74158 Natural had a sweet aroma, while Nigusse Gemeda Washed felt a bit more nutty. Ta-da!!! It came with that big cube ice I love from Central Site@@
Somehow it gives off a bit of a cocktail-glass vibe, and coming in a glass cup makes the mood feel elevated even though it's just coffee. I remember drinking from a crystal glass before, and this time it came in a similarly styled glass, so it felt like an even more luxurious way to enjoy it.

Ethiopia Tamiru 74158 Natural
This is from a world-famous coffee producer, processing station, and coffee brand — apparently it made a name for itself by winning both 1st and 5th place at the 2021 Ethiopia Cup of Excellence (COE)! It's grown at 2,300–2,500m altitude in the Sidama Bensa region of Ethiopia, and is known for rich sweetness with fruity and floral notes.
The sweet aroma really was great,,, an aroma you can't get anywhere else!!

Ethiopia Nigusse Gemeda Washed
This is an heirloom variety grown in the Kerchamo highlands of Sidama, Ethiopia, processed through natural anaerobic fermentation — apparently it has jasmine floral notes, a slight raspberry and blueberry acidity!?, and a sweet aroma. To me it felt a bit more nutty than the Tamiru!
Overall, since both are drip coffees, the flavor doesn't hit you strongly — instead there's a gentle floral, fruity aroma throughout. Being able to enjoy the aroma more than usual coffee,,,, isn't that the fun of hand drip? Haha.

How was the classic tiramisu at Central Site Hapjeong?
Central Site Hapjeong's classic tiramisu (₩8,500) was fresh with no frozen feel at all, and the coffee aroma was impressive. And honestly, there was a menu item I was secretly looking forward to this visit — the tiramisu, lol. The tiramisu I had at the Yeonnam branch really stuck with me.

The inside was soft and there was real chocolate on top, so you could taste the chocolate's sweetness too. It wasn't overly sweet, so it went well with the coffee!!!!
A café made for an autumn weekend outing
As the weather gets a bit cooler these days, isn't it nice to sit on a terrace and read lightly instead of staying indoors the whole time? Yeah!? Sitting leisurely with a cup of coffee and then slowly walking around Hapjeong afterward is good too (getting sentimental,,,).
Perfect for chatting with a friend too! It was a space that fit really well for a weekend outing date with a partner. Especially if you have work to do, sitting at the indoor bar table with your laptop open seemed like a good way to spend time.
A fall day spent leisurely enjoying coffee on the terrace, along with fragrant hand drip and real tiramisu — that was Central Site Hapjeong.
