Do you know Horanggul, an insanely delicious gopchang jeongol (beef offal hot pot) place…? It is tucked inside the Bangi-dong dining alley and serves gopchang jeongol and chicken-skin gyoza. It is seriously the kind of amazing spot that pops back into your mind after just one meal. This place… it is so delicious, it has that irresistible charm.
I came around dinnertime, so everyone who loves gopchang jeongol, gather round 〰️〰️✨

Horanggul Bangi Branch location and visitor information
It is on the first floor at 16 Ogeum-ro 15-gil, Songpa-gu, Seoul. Hours are daily from 11:30 a.m. to midnight, with a break from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. Last orders are at 11:00 p.m., and lunch orders close at 2:30 p.m.

Parking seems to be unavailable, but wait, there was a sign right next door saying “Horanggul parking lot”..? Parking is difficult in the Bangi-dong dining alley, and it was full here too, so it may be better to park at Songpa-gu Office or Jamsil Lotte World Mall. Still, just in case, try dropping by with your car!

Ordering three portions of gopchang jeongol and chicken-skin gyoza
You can check the menu outside before coming in. We ordered Horanggul gopchang jeongol at ₩16,900 × 3 portions, chicken-skin gyoza at ₩12,900, and three bowls of rice.

Inside, there were four-person tables as well as two-person tables, and you could seat more people by joining tables together. It was a weekday evening rather than a weekend evening, but there were still so many diners!

If you take part in the review event, you get one extra serving of meat—why wouldn’t you? Definitely try it. The woosamgyeop (thin-sliced beef belly) in Horanggul’s gopchang jeongol is seriously delicious!!!!!!!

It is even tastier when you follow the guide for enjoying motsunabe (Japanese-style offal hot pot)~! Motsunabe ㅜㅜ is seriously so good, and it is packed with offal and vegetables, so I am calling it health food~~~~ Basically shabu-shabu, right~~~~

You order from your table by QR code, which is so convenient :)

There is just this one banchan (side dish), you know? But it is sooo good ㅠㅠ Garlic scapes with yuzu—absolutely perfect. There is a reason there is only one side dish. This is all you need.

Save the broth, then add rice-cake noodles
The gopchang jeongol is bubbling away deliciously 💜 Horanggul cooks each order right away, and one thing to know is that extra broth is not available! The broth that naturally comes out of the vegetables is so delicious. If you want to add noodles or other extras, make sure to save some broth first.
I have tried all kinds of add-ins, and my recommendation is the tteokmyeon (rice-cake noodles) ⭐️ They are chewy, and I highly recommend them.... The rice-cake noodles soak up the flavorful broth and are super chewy. Chewy chewy.
There is tons of tofu, fish balls, fried tofu, mung bean sprouts, soybean sprouts, green onion, offal, and woosamgyeop!!!!! It is absolutely packed with ingredients. Ordering three portions definitely made it feel like so much more food 🙌🏻

When the timer goes off, a staff member comes over and mixes it for you :) Just wait patiently until they have mixed everything together.

Even crispier chicken-skin gyoza
I could not have the chicken-skin gyoza before because it had sold out, but it is back!!! Eek, screammmmm~~~~~~~ It has been revamped, so it is crispier while still full of juices.. Ahh ㅠㅠ It tasted even better because it had been so long. Chicken-skin gyoza, do not sell out again.

It is a perfect spread. Eating it this way is such a delicious dream combination. Add one more bowl of rice and I highly, highly recommend it as a full meal.

The juices are no joke, right…! Be careful because it is hot when you first bite in. But it is so delicious that you cannot not order it. The chicken-skin gyoza and gopchang jeongol are absolute must-orders!
