Today’s restaurant menu was seolleongtang (ox-bone soup), which I hadn’t had in a while! Hahaha. I think I had a really enjoyable meal at Hanchon Seolleongtang Bucheon Kkachiul Station Branch, haha.

Among seolleongtang brands, Hanchon Seolleongtang is synonymous with the deep flavor of 40 years of tradition!! Let me tell you about the proper meal I had there, haha.
Between Kkachiul Station and Jak-dong: parking and rabbit-watching
Address: 37 Kkachi-ro 74beon-gil, Ojeong-gu, Bucheon, Gyeonggi-do, South Korea (경기도 부천시 오정구 까치로74번길 37 2층) Hours: Daily 08:00–21:00 / Last order 20:30
It is located between Kkachiul Station and Jak-dong in Bucheon, and if you visit by car, there’s a spacious parking lot right in front, which was convenient! Haha.
You can also see the rabbits raised by the restaurant, so if you come with children, rabbit-watching is possible too!! Hahaha. (They’re sooo cute.)

A spacious, pleasant dining room
Hanchon Seolleongtang Bucheon Kkachiul Station Branch was really pleasant and spacious inside, which was great! Haha.

The staff were also truly kind, so I was able to enjoy a very satisfying meal! Haha.

From seolleongtang to naengmyeon sets
Looking at the menu, it is broadly divided into soups, cooked dishes, set menus, and side dishes!

For soup, there is seolleongtang and spicy seolleongtang, plus several other choices including tteokguk seolleongtang, ttukbaegi bulgogi, yang gomtang, beef head gomtang, and doganitang, so you can order according to the style you want!

There are also kimchi pancakes, tteokgalbi (grilled minced beef patties), and dumplings on the side, so it should be an easy choice even when you come with children!!

Naengmyeon (cold noodles) also comes in set options, which seem really nice to have with dumplings too!! Haha.

Ordering classic and spicy seolleongtang
We ordered spicy seolleongtang and classic seolleongtang! They start cooking as soon as you order, so there is a little wait, haha.

You can get scallions and salt from the self-service bar, and you can have extra rice separately if you need it!! Haha.

With nicely ripened kimchi
It is no exaggeration to say that kimchi makes or breaks a seolleongtang restaurant! Hahaha. The kimchi at Hanchon Seolleongtang Bucheon Kkachiul Station Branch was so delicious and nicely ripened that it just kept disappearing alongside the soup!! Hahaha.

Wheat noodles, glass noodles, and generous toppings
Ahh~~ The milky-broth classic seolleongtang and the spicy seolleongtang, which looked warming just from the sight of it, arrived! Haha.
The classic seolleongtang had thin wheat noodles inside, making it even more filling and hearty, and there were very generous beef toppings too!
The spicy seolleongtang had glass noodles instead of wheat noodles, but I added an extra serving of wheat noodles because I wanted them too, and I ate until I was absolutely stuffed! Haha.
The spicy seolleongtang broth was wonderfully refreshing without being overly hot or harsh, so I think it would be great for a hangover too! It also had generous amounts of beef and glass noodles, making it excellent for filling up, haha.
It is definitely a brand with 40 years of tradition—the ox-bone broth had such a deep, refreshing flavor that it seemed great for nourishing yourself too!

The more I ate, the more its savory umami flavor made me keep reaching for another bite, haha.

You can soak your rice in the broth and slurp it up, or enjoy the wheat noodles with the ox-bone broth—the pairing is just perfect!! Haha. I mixed all the rice right in and topped it with kimchi straight away!

As expected, seolleongtang is truly at its best when you mix in white rice and spoon it up with a slurp, haha.

A satisfying meal for family dining too
I had such a delicious meal at Hanchon Seolleongtang Bucheon Kkachiul Station Branch, and because the dining room was so pleasant, I think it is an ideal place to visit for a family meal too!
