What are the interior and seating like at Nonchalant Lounge?

Stepping inside, you get a cozy feel from the wood-tone furniture, warm orange lighting, and tasteful decor. The tables have plenty of space between them, and there's 2-top, 4-top, and sofa-style group seating, so it suits dates, friend gatherings, and family meals alike. There's an open kitchen in the middle where you can watch the cooking, and a big screen with soft music adds to the atmosphere.

What we ordered at Nonchalant Lounge
That day we ordered homemade meatballs and French baguette, crispy thin pizza, garlic butter rice as an add-on, bisque rosé pasta, and lemonade.

Homemade meatballs with French baguette
First, the homemade meatballs and French baguette was a dish I really wanted to try at Nonchalant Lounge. The large meatballs had a soft texture and rich meaty flavor, and eating them with the tomato sauce brought out even more savoriness. The French baguette served alongside was great for scooping up plenty of sauce — a combo I ended up finishing down to the last bite.

Garlic butter rice add-on
Adding garlic butter rice let us enjoy the meatballs' flavor even more heartily. The savory butter aroma and sharp garlic scent soaked well into the rice, making it great for mixing with the meatball sauce. It's a good add-on when pasta and pizza alone feel like they're not quite enough.

Bisque rosé pasta
The bisque rosé pasta is a dish with an appealing rosé sauce full of deep umami from shrimp and seafood. The soft, savory rosé sauce combined with the bisque's rich flavor made every bite feel full-bodied. It wasn't too heavy, either — a subtle spiciness made it easy to finish without feeling weighed down.

Crispy thin pizza
The crispy thin pizza has a thin, crunchy crust, so it was good to order alongside the pasta. Because the crust is thin, even ordering several dishes didn't feel too heavy, and the crispy texture made it fun to share slice by slice. It pairs well with wine or lemonade, so I'd recommend it on a day you want to enjoy the Haenggung-dong wine bar vibe.

Lemonade
The lemonade had a refreshing, tangy taste that cleanly cut through the rich flavors of the rosé pasta and meatballs. It's nice to sip between bites, and it's a drink that still feels atmospheric even on a day you're not drinking wine!
