Kid-friendly Italian restaurant in Pangyo: tomato mushroom pasta at

In short

Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch is an Italian restaurant newly opened on the Baekhyeon-dong café street in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. On a weekend outing with kids, the tomato mushroom pasta and a salad were ordered at Raon Sik Tak: the pasta's acidity was mild enough for a child to finish, and the salty ham on top of the salad was an unexpected highlight. As long as you plan around the 15:00–17:00 break time and the Monday closing day, Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch is worth adding to a family outing route.

Every weekend when I take the kids out, I end up stuck on "what do I feed them today" and somehow always circle back to the same old places — anyone else in that boat?

Whenever I head toward Pangyo, my options are always slim, so this time I finally worked up the courage to try somewhere newly opened. Combined it with a walk through the café street with the kids too.

Is Raon Sik Tak okay with kids and a stroller?

Walking into Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch, the white-toned interior and good natural light made it a great spot for taking photos of the kids too.

The tables had plenty of space between them, so getting a stroller in wasn't much of a hassle. The Baekhyeon-dong café street itself has a nice walkable vibe, perfect for a stroll after eating.

Honestly, finding an Italian restaurant in Pangyo where I could sit comfortably with the kids has always been a bit of a chore. Franchises all taste the same, and dragging kids to a famous spot with a long wait feels awkward. So personally, I was glad to find a place on the Baekhyeon-dong café street list that's actually comfortable to bring kids to.

Did the tomato mushroom pasta suit a child's palate?

That day we ordered the tomato mushroom pasta and a salad.

The tomato base was packed with mushrooms, tasty enough that we ended up spooning up the sauce too. The acidity wasn't too much for a kid's palate, so my child ate it up happily. The noodles were cooked just right, easy to slurp down.

How was the salad at Raon Sik Tak?

The salad was a bit of a surprise — the ham on top was saltier and had more umami than expected.

Eaten together with the vegetables, the seasoning balanced out just right, and I kept reaching for more. If you're not a fan of salty flavors, asking for the dressing on the side might be a good move.

Both dishes came in generous portions — not too little to share with a kid, not too little for two adults to split either. Honestly, isn't this enough to put on your list of Pangyo Western food spots? Worth adding as a candidate when you're searching for Baekhyeon restaurants too.
