Shrimp rosé pasta set for two in Baekhyeon-dong, Pangyo: Raon Sik Tak
In short
Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch is an Italian restaurant serving wood-fired pizza and pasta on Baekhyeon-dong café street in Seongnam, Gyeonggi. On an evening date for two, the writer ordered Set 1 for two — cotto e ricotta pizza, cream gnocchi 8pc and shrimp rosé pasta — and all three dishes arrived almost at the same time. The fully peeled shrimp and the deeply tomato-forward rosé sauce were the highlights of the meal.

Hi everyone~~ It's Chami! I hadn't been to Pangyo's Baekhyeon-dong café street in a while, and I went on an evening date with my boyfriend there haha~~ It was already a bit dark on the café street in the evening, but from far away I spotted a cozy pasta place glowing with warm light!! It had the vibe of stumbling onto a restaurant tucked in some alley in Rome, Italy! This is Raon Sik Tak, a Baekhyeon-dong café street favorite~~

The pasta was delicious, but what really got me was the wood-fired pizza — so good! I ate so happily. So let me introduce Raon Sik Tak, a Baekhyeon-dong café street spot with great mood and great taste!
Inside Raon Sik Tak: seating and evening atmosphere

Raon Sik Tak has an open space with warm lighting and soft bright wood-tone interiors, giving off a comfortable, cozy feeling overall!
The mood was really nice, so it was perfect for a date with my boyfriend! There happened to be some foreign guests too, which made it feel even more like a pasta place in Rome, Italy.

There were plenty of seats, and the tables had generous spacing between them, so I could eat comfortably the whole time!

A wood-fired oven pizza baked right there — I was so excited even before ordering! Watching the fire blazing away in the oven was oddly healing, and it made me feel warm inside somehow haha~~
The tableware was neatly arranged piece by piece and kept spotless, so I felt good the whole meal~~
What comes in Raon Sik Tak's Set 1 for two?

Here's the Raon Sik Tak Pangyo Branch menu~~ Since we came as two, we ordered the 2-person Set 1! Set 1 lets you choose pizza (cotto e ricotta or salsiccia & pepper) + cream gnocchi 8pc + 1 pasta!

We ordered
- ✔️ Cotto e ricotta pizza
- ✔️ Cream gnocchi
- ✔️ Shrimp rosé pasta
These three! It was nice being able to try pizza, gnocchi, and pasta all together as two people~~
All three dishes on the table at once

Wow!! Finally the cotto e ricotta pizza, cream gnocchi, and shrimp rosé pasta arrived! Usually dishes come out one at a time with some gap between them, but maybe I got lucky at Raon Sik Tak because all three menu items came out almost simultaneously! Thanks to that, I could arrange all three dishes together nicely and get proper photos~~!
Cotto e ricotta wood-fired pizza

I heard the cotto e ricotta pizza is Raon Sik Tak's signature menu! They say it's a savory, rich wood-fired pizza combining their house-made cotto ham with ricotta cheese!

Cotto ham is an Italian-style cooked ham, soft and light with a subtle saltiness that went so well with the pizza. And apparently they make the cotto ham themselves — the ham was piled on generously like big flower petals, so the visual alone was amazing!

On top of the cotto e ricotta pizza, ricotta cheese is piled generously in the center! Scoop a little with a spoon and spread it over the pizza~~ With all that savory cheese added, doesn't it look truly appetizing and luxurious?

Wow, it was seriously delicious!! The cotto ham had a subtle smoky aroma along with a light, savory saltiness~~ The pizza dough was fluffy too, and there was cheese powder sprinkled on top, adding even more savory flavor!

There was a light drizzle of oil too, which made the whole thing feel soft and moist, almost melting in your mouth — the finish going down was really good!

Plus the ricotta cheese piled generously in the center had a soft yet rich cheesy flavor that made the pizza's overall taste deeper and fuller!

Since it's baked in a wood-fired oven, the dough had that crispy-outside, chewy-inside texture down perfectly! The crust was delicious on its own, but dipping it into the cream gnocchi sauce was also really good!
Cream gnocchi, 8 pieces — is it enough for two?

The gnocchi was really delicious too! The soft, rich cream flavor was insane!! There were 8 pieces of gnocchi total in the cream sauce~~ Gnocchi is a type of pasta made by kneading potato or flour dough into round shapes and boiling or baking it.

You might think, hmm, 8 pieces sounds like less than expected — but no way haha. Because gnocchi is basically potato dough, each piece was pretty filling and satisfying!
Soft potato flavor combined with a rich, savory cream sauce — this combination just can't be bad!
If I had to compare it to something, it's kind of like carbonara made with potato~~? Of course it's not actually carbonara, but it had that creamy, rich flavor, and I really enjoyed it!
Shrimp rosé pasta with big, fully peeled shrimp

The shrimp rosé pasta has big steamed shrimp on top! Usually when a dish comes with shrimp this big, you think 'ugh... how am I supposed to peel that?' right?! But Raon Sik Tak thoughtfully already cleaned the shrimp shells, so you can just eat right away!

The shrimp was plump and really tasty too! The shrimp rosé pasta also had eggplant and tomato mixed in, adding texture with every bite that went really well together!

And the rosé sauce was really impressive! Usually rosé pasta has about a 5:5 tomato-to-cream ratio, but Raon Sik Tak's felt more like 6.5 tomato to 3.5 cream, with a stronger tomato flavor.

Maybe that's why it had a more subtle tomato aroma alive in it compared to a typical rosé pasta, while still keeping the smoothness of the cream — a slightly more refined, deeper flavor.

With the tomato's refreshing flavor subtly added, it wasn't heavy at all and went down smoothly. Not greasy, and I enjoyed it all the way to the last bite!
How clean is the restroom at Raon Sik Tak?

Pangyo's Baekhyeon-dong café street has tons of great restaurants and pretty cafés, right? But one thing that quietly matters is the restroom. Raon Sik Tak's restroom was kept spotless too, no smell, very pleasant! The interior had that same warm feel, so even the restroom experience was clean and nice! Highly recommend! Everything was perfect~~
Is Raon Sik Tak Pangyo worth it for an evening date?
Overall the atmosphere was warm and cozy, and from the wood-fired pizza to the cream gnocchi to the shrimp rosé pasta, every dish at Raon Sik Tak was genuinely delicious! Being able to try pizza, gnocchi, and pasta all at once made it a great spot for eating together on a date!
If you want good Western food in a great atmosphere, I'd recommend Raon Sik Tak, a Baekhyeon-dong café street favorite! If you're looking for Western food in Pangyo or Baekhyeon, this place is worth a visit~~
