A place that's both dog-friendly and actually tasty

Finding a place that's dog-friendly AND tasty feels like finding a needle in a haystack, right? Honestly, if a place is kind to my dog or comfortable to hang out in, I'll come back even if the food is just okay. But this place is pet-friendly AND the food is genuinely top-notch!!!! If you've been searching for somewhere to bring your dog and thought you'd have to sacrifice on taste, I highly recommend this spot.

Hours, parking, and how to get there from Juyeop Station

Sun–Mon 08:30–18:00 / Tue–Sat 08:30–22:00

If you use the Sidae Plaza underground parking lot, you get free parking for 2 hours on weekdays and 1.5 hours on weekends^^ Like Like Ilsan Juyeop Branch is a 10-minute walk from Exit 4 of Juyeop Station (Line 3), so it's really accessible. It's also close to Ilsan Lake Park, Jeongbalsan Park, and the Juyeop academy district, making it a great stop after a walk or errand.

There's outdoor terrace seating too

They also had outdoor terrace seats, and with the weather getting cooler these days, eating outside would be perfect! We ate indoors this time, but next time I'd love to sit on the terrace on a nice day and take it easy haha.

The folding-door indoor atmosphere

With folding doors that open all the way, the space feels open and lets in plenty of sunlight, which made for a really nice vibe. Inside, soft lighting and green plants scattered around gave it a warm, cozy feeling. And since it's an open kitchen, the smell of delicious food drifts out even before you walk in — I got hungrier the second I stepped inside lol.

Ordered the basil tomato cheese panini (single) and the jalapeño sweet chicken panini set (banana blueberry yogurt bowl, grapefruit juice)!! As soon as we ordered, they started cooking it fresh right there in the open kitchen ♡!!

First off, I loved that all the ingredients were fresh. For a basil tomato cheese panini to taste good, the tomato and basil need to be fresh, and there needs to be enough cheese. When I tasted it, there was quite a lot of cheese that stretched nicely, and the tomato was fresh without being mushy or bland. Most of all, instead of seasoning everything heavily, they let each ingredient's flavor come through, so it tasted clean and delicious.

The bread was slightly crispy on the outside with plenty of cheese packed inside. The cheese stretches nicely when you eat it too haha. The tomato made everything moist overall, and eating it with the chicken gave it a clean, light flavor. The jalapeño gives a slight kick here and there, which pairs nicely with the sweetness of the tomato for a sweet-and-spicy balance. Plus the fragrant arugula on top 👍👍 It's not aggressively spicy or heavily seasoned — you can really taste the ingredients themselves, so it was easy to eat without feeling weighed down.

The banana blueberry yogurt bowl that came with the set

The yogurt bowl that came with the set was great too. The yogurt wasn't overly sweet, which I actually liked, and with banana, blueberries, and granola mixed in, it was perfect for cleansing the palate after the panini. The granola especially gave it a nice crunch, and since the sweetness wasn't overdone, it was easy to enjoy without feeling too heavy.
