Hanam Korean restaurant for generous pork ssambap: Dolsoe Ssambap

Dolsoe Ssambap location and parking on Misagangbyeonhangang-ro, Hanam

It’s located on Misagangbyeonhangang-ro in Hanam. It’s close to Starfield Hanam, so a stroll and shopping after your meal would be just perfect.

The parking area is very spacious, so I recommend it for family meals, team lunches, and group gatherings too. It’s in a great spot to pair with an outing along the Misa riverside. Have a meal in a comfortable, pleasant setting!

A clean interior with spacious tables

The staff welcomed us kindly as soon as we came in, so we were able to settle in comfortably.

I loved how generously spaced the tables were. The tables themselves are large too, so there’s plentyyy of room for a ssambap spread! The restaurant is clean overall, and it really has that proper Korean set-meal restaurant feel.

The indirect lighting is so pretty too, and the place looks stylish, like a newly built building, haha.

Ssambap set menu and what comes with it

The ssambap (rice wrapped in leafy vegetables) sets come with a range of mains, including pork ribs, stir-fried spicy pork, beef bulgogi, thin-sliced pork belly, beef brisket, and stir-fried octopus. All sets require at least two orders and include 12 kinds of wrap vegetables, 12 side dishes, steamed egg, doenjang stew, ssamjang, and rice. Such amazing value, right?

You can choose either mackerel ssamjang or seafood ssamjang! When two people go together, it’s perfect to choose one of each.

We ordered the Dolsoe Spicy Pork Ssambap for two, ₩28,000!

Wow, just look at that stir-fried spicy pork. Here comes the kind of visual that makes your mouth water.

We chose seafood ssamjang and mackerel ssamjang respectively, so we could try both! But there was quite a lot, so we left a bunchㅠㅠ Such a shame… it was the kind of flavor I wanted to pack up and take home. Total rice thief 🫪

The 12 kinds of wrap vegetables are refillable, so we got another round. When we finished the side dishes, they immediately asked whether we wanted more, too. Their attentiveness made it such a happy meal. And needless to say, the food was the best!!

I’m a preeetty big fan of stir-fried spicy pork, and I really enjoyed this one~ The spicy-sweet sauce, the springy texture of the meat, and the deliciously stir-fried carrots and vegetables all came together in harmony.

Look at how fresh those wrap vegetables are. I’ve discovered the taste of danggui (Korean angelica leaf) now!! It was such a delicious, happy meal, and my intention to return is 200 percent. I’ll be back, boss, haha.
